Overall, good, not great; but close. We arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Place was very busy! Parking lot was a bit of a muddy mess. Joy took very good care of us although she was most likely waiting in 10 tables at the time. We have bacon/cheese burgers and fries – good, but a bit greasy. We liked the atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Great little restaurant, the food is fantastic! The best hand dipped onion petals and mushrooms in existence – period. Also the cod,chicken pot pie and prime rib are delicious.. And the service is the best Joy one then waitress is a pure gem doesn’t matter is the place is hopping- which it usually is, she is always hustling and on it dancing with a smile. Definitely don’t sleep on this restaurant so worth it.

Burgers were so greasy the bottom of the Buns were a goey mess. When I informed the waitress she informed me that is just how burgers are. I told her not anywhere I’ve eaten in 50 yrs.. She said I better never eat at Sally’s or Applebee’s.. I have eaten at so many more places as a veteran truck driver and never had a burger served to me like that. She was Rude and unconcerned her customers were not happy.

Been going there for 30 years. Now it’s under new ownership and the quality has been lowered quite a bit. Not enough wait staff so it can be up to 45 minutes to get your food and it’s usually not exactly what you ordered. The girls are hustling but not enough of them. The quality of the food is lacking. Used to be great and now it’s fair at best. We’ve just started to drive a little further to Paul’s Pub.

Haven’t been here almost 15 years and it was beautiful to see nearly nothing has changed! Atmosphere is exactly what you expect and want for a small pub in Northern Michigan. Service? OMG!!! The girls didn’t stop running all night!!! They were prompt, never hurried you, and made you feel welcomed. Oh yeah, we had food too! The fried mushrooms were spot on! Hot, delicious, and the right amount of battering on them. My wife and I both had the fried fish..portions excellent, cooked perfect, delicious homemade tartar sauce!!! We took some homemade apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, a few moments in the microwave and bam! It was delicious! We will certainly not wait 12 years to come back for our next visit! And if you can snag Angela to be your waitress, she is tops, but ALL the staff that night were great to us and having a great time together! Definitely make this a stop if you’re in the area!!!

I payed cash says u get a 3% discount for paying with cash but really they r adding 3% to your bill so either way u pay a percentage to eat there and service sucked and charged us extra for lettuce and tomato on a burger which is crazy so with the 6% sales tax your paying 9% to eat there the receipt shows that instead of taking off 3% for cash discount it adds that amount to the 6% sales tax so they r scamming all the ppl there I wish I could put the receipt on here to show ppl but it won’t let me
