Great place, a must try if you are around! Needed food for an event at Henry Horton State Park Ave called day prior. Staff was very nice on the phone. Staff was super nice in person when I picked up the BBQ and green beans. The BBQ was great, and the sauce was a unique good flavor. The green beans were top 3 best I’ve had in my life. I will definitely eat here again if I’m in the area. All around great experience.

We picked up loaded baked potatoes (both pulled chicken and pork) and a pulled chicken salad after work. Food portions were just ok for around $14 per person. I had a hard time tasting the smoke on the pulled chicken salad. A bit underwhelmed overall.

Friendly staff & great service. Great BBQ and not to much of a heavy smoke flavor. Could offer a healthier side option. Great place to grab a sandwich before disc golfing at Henry Horton. I’ve made a 25 minute drive to get BBQ here and it was worth it! Very reasonably priced! Great chicken sandwich!! Very affordable

Food was good. Service was outstanding. The atmosphere was good. Just a small eating area, the decor was cute.
I was slightly disappointed in the portion size of the pulled pork sandwich, not much meat was on my sandwich, or my husband’s but it tasted good for what was there, the cheeseburgers were good sized. Next time I’m going to try the loaded potatoes.. I saw 2 being served while waiting and they were huge!!!

I had a pulled pork sandwich with the works,potato salad,baked beans and banana pudding at Holy Smokes.It was very good.The service was great and I chose to dine outside.Being in a small town,sitting next to the main road,eating barbecue in the country air was great.I recommend a trip to Holy Smokes.

Cheeseburger was excellent! The tomatoes were ripe and tasty(cant get that at fast food around here!) Pulled pork was good and the mild sauce was fantastic! Will be back to try more soon!
