Love it here. Same concept as the big chains like Mod or Blaze, but better AND it’s a small local business! They also have some innovative specialty pizzas like their Tikka Masala pizza (shown in the picture).

Primo’s picked up right where Pieology left off. Awesome pizza. One of my favorite ‘customize your pizza in front of you’ places. I just hope Primo’s doesn’t try and change anything because Pieology knew what they were doing and had a good product. If you have the chance to stop by, do it… you won’t be disappointed. I will update my review later once we go back later and see if there have been any dramatic changes.

Clean restaurant and family-owned. The friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating. I checked with them about the extra “room” that closes off from the rest of the dining area and it is available for large groups and fund-raisers. I appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options, although since I am both it makes my pizza a bit pricey. Our pizzas were very delicious and perfect the first time, which had become a problem in my visits with the previous owner, Pieology. I’m so glad we still have this option, new and improved, in the J’town/Hurstbourne area.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The flavor of this pizza is like no fast food pizza restaurants. You choose your topping right down to the spices. The open fire oven adds that extra touch to the crispiness. I would love to have ordered a bigger size to take home the leftovers….definitely will visit again.

I give this spot 5 Stars! It may look like your average neighborhood pizza joint, but Primo’s Pizzeria is anything but!
I wandered in with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered two thin-crust pies to made to order: I got olive oil, pesto, a little red sauce, red onion, spinach, garlic, basil, olives, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, and my friend ordered theirs with chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, butter/herb sauce, onions, and garlic. When our pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded.
The crust was crisp and flavorful. The toppings were so FRESH and worked together beautifully. The marinara and pesto were packed with flavor, and the mozzarella had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal, we were planning our next visit.

We had a pretty good experience here, no complaints. We had been regulars at MOD Pizza which is the same kind of pizza place whoch closed down recently. Primo’s pizza and toppings are of pretty good quality. Prices were just a little bit higher than we were used to and service just a little bit slower but nothing to complain about. We will probably be back when the pizza craving hits
