I had the 5 piece catfish plate and my husband had the small bbq pork plate. The servings were so big we had enough for dinner too. The catfish was some of the best I’ve ever had!! The plate came with 3 whole fish and 2 fillets plus 2 sides. I actually liked the whole fish over the fillets…the coating was so light you could really taste the fish. We had a late lunch…service was excellent and our food came out quickly. We are just passing thru the area but planning on going again before we leave.
Update: we went back several days later…got same main dishes with different sides and it was just as delicious as the first time.

Our second time eating here. First was at lunch time and now dinner. Food was good. I got something fried and hubby got a salad. Fried just right. I preferred filet than bone in catfish, which was done the first time. The service was just below average. But both times, the hush puppies that came with meal was non-existent. Why did we forget to mention until we leave that it was not served? Well after waiting for your food, we were so hungry when the food was served that we didn’t miss the absence of hush puppies. We had a 20 min wait the first time, then an hour wait second time. We had the same waitress at both visit. Won’t be going back. This building has been several restaurants in it’s existence and it may repeat itself.

Overall I would recommend this place as they are reasonably priced. I have ordered food from this establishment multiple times. The pulled pork sandwiches are alright. However, the two sauce options available leave something to be desired. The smoked chicken was moist and flavorful. The ribs were also good. I would describe the service as being adequate.

This BBQ is a-ma-zing!! Some one really knows what they are doing in the kitchen! Very family friendly as the establishment is run by a family itself. My husband got fresh fried catfish, I enjoyed the ribs; and we got several different sides between us. All of it was delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong here! Better yet, it was great food at a very reasonable price. We will be stopping here again anytime we’re traveling through Eufaula.

Fantastic atmosphere! Super friendly. Not wanting to be horrible but my wife’s side salad could have been bigger, with some color. The tomatoes were old. We asked for crispy wings and they were the opposite of that, like wet socks. My baked potatoe had cheese out of a bottle or something, I was expecting real cheese for a family style restaurant. I like supporting local communities but was disappointed.

The reviews are accurate and hard to add more praise. This is one of those gems you decide to turn into and get some unbelievable food & service. Everything’s delicious but I was amazed at his baked beans and onion rings. Homemade recipes don’t ignore anything on the menu. If you’re thinking about it, stop and eat. No disappointment here!

Stopped for a late lunch. Appetizer of 3 delicious BBQ Ribs. We had Fried Catfish and Shrimp. Came with Greens, Mac & Cheese and Delicious Hush Puppies.
Husband had BLT Wrap, home made Onion Rings.
Mrs.(Georgia girl) says Best Catfish and Ribs she ever had.
Oh, for desert we had the most Amazing Peach Cobbler!
Highly recommended!

Good food for the soul. Wednesday is our favorite day. We get the Ox Tail special. Tastes great and cheaper than any other place in town or anywhere else for that matter. Jerome (Cook/owner) is a hoot to deal with as he comes out to speak to people to check to see how they like the food. What cook does that?! Keep up the good work.

Delicious! As soon as I exited our vehicle, I could smell the intoxicating aroma of the BBQ. It was an excellent choice that we will be making again the next time we travel this route, (very soon). The taste was 5-star, a hefty portion, and a great value. And our server was wonderful – attentive and super sweet. See y’all again soon!
