We were so surprised to find such authentic Thai food in Interlaken. The flavours in the tom yum kung was the show stopper for me.

We came as a family of six and was seated very quickly despite the crowd. We ordered an array of dishes and they all came hot and quickly.

The owner was so super friendly as well. Would definitely go back if we had one more day!

I have to say this was an absolute treat. My friends and I were pretty hungry after our snowboard session.

The lady that helped us, although we didn’t understand each other super well, was incredibly sweet and made sure we were well taken care of.

Food was a 10 out of 10. Service aswel. I would for sure come back anytime after a snowboard session in Grindelwald.

Tom Yung Kung in Interlaken looked like a good break from Swiss food while traveling.

I had the fried rice duck and spring rolls, but neither impressed enough to get excited about.

The duck was dry, spring rolls were crisp but bland, and flavors felt muted.

Service was polite, and prices were average for the area. If you’re craving a Thai switch-up, it’s fine, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Fantastic Wonton noodles soup. The staff let us finish in peace without being rude even after closing time and being the only two guests there.

Foods are delicious but smaller portion comparing to other Thai places or restaurants. A bit understaff and they serve deep fried spare rib to us and table next to us. It seems they cook all in one which is fine then split to two. But their portion is much bigger than us giving we pay the same price.

Great Thai restaurant with traditional thai dishes. It was not the best Thai food that I had, but it was pretty good.
It wasn’t super spicy, so it was perfect for the kids to get into the Thai cuisine.
We ordered four different dishes and they served it so we could share.

Misleading information about the dishes and unethical inhumane behaviour : the food quality was shockingly poor. We ordered a green curry, which arrived white in color and bore no resemblance to a green curry in appearance, taste, or ingredients. When we politely raised the concern that we might have received the wrong dish, the response from staff was dismissive and arrogant: “the chef said he was born in Thailand,” as if this statement alone justified serving a dish that was clearly incorrect and substandard. No attempt was made to verify the order, apologise, or correct the mistake. In addition after that we wanted to order noodles for my daughter and then the server lied that they are closed at 1 pm, while they served others. I personally witnessed the server lady telling two Indian customers that the restaurant was “closed,” while at the very same time welcoming other (non-Indian) customers and seating them without hesitation. This behaviour was openly racist, humiliating, and completely unacceptable in any professional establishment.
The combination of discriminatory treatment, rude service, and misleading food raises serious concerns about the standards, ethics, and professionalism of this establishment. Customers should never be subjected to racism, nor should they be gaslighted when pointing out legitimate issues with their food.

This experience was deeply offensive and has left me questioning how such behavior is allowed to continue. I believe this matter warrants serious attention and investigation, as it reflects a complete failure to uphold basic hospitality standards and respect for customers.

I expect this complaint to be taken seriously.

Meal was disappointing as we had high expectations since the pictures in menu looked so good. Actual dishes were bland, smaller, or completely misrepresented. Only pad Thai dish was most edible. The duck was tough, tasted like it was from frozen batch. Red curry was ordered to be mild but came spicy anyway.
