This is an average Mexican restaurant in Evergreen, Colorado. I enjoyed going there, but it’s not like I would have to go back to order anything they had. The staff was very nice. After the first 30 minutes, we were the only table in the restaurant for 2 hours, on a Saturday night. They did have a lovely fireplace and that made the Ambiance pretty nice.

Great place with an awesome atmosphere. The waitress was really attentive and fast. The food was OK, not great. The bison burrito was a little dry and not all the beans were fully cooked. I ordered a jalapeño margarita and was not impressed. Overall, good restaurant restaurant.

We stopped in here unexpectedly as it started raining and we didn’t want the little ones to have to walk in the rain all the way to the restaurant we had planned to dine at. Boy are we glad we did. The service was excellent, our server was Kenna (spelling??) She was very friendly and on top of everything. We all have food allergies and had to order our food prepared a specific way, she ensured it was done correct the first time and we had no problems. There’s a cute little play area for the kids to play in while waiting for food, it’s tucked back in the corner that is visible by the entire restaurant, so you know kids won’t be walking out the front door, or walking off with a stranger. I had the prickly margarita it was great, my boyfriend had the jalapeño margarita, he said he wasn’t a fan! We both had fajitas and they were amazing! I definitely recommend this place! They also offer veterans, military, firefighter, educator and senior discounts!!

This was a fabulous experience in more ways than one! We set out for Evergreen with the intention of having lunch here as it seems it’s the only game in town for Mexican food. On arrival, we found the dining room was closed but the Cantina was in operation. We thought..oh no, pub grub! Hesitant, we walked into the narrow Cantina and we’re immediately and warmly greeted by Laurelyn from behind the bar, who explained she was the only one working and we would need to be patient. Okay. She then brought us the menus and we were pleased to find it was the full menu! Yay no pub grub! I had the Shrimp Tacos and my wife had a mushroom quesadilla prepared by a well staffed kitchen! Both plates were well prepared and the food was outstanding. The place is warm, well decorated, comfortable, and well worth the drive into Evergreen. And, for being the only server on duty for the entire Cantina, Laurelyn rocked it!

What can I say? Great little Mexican restaurant in one of the coolest little towns. The vegetarian tacos were awesome. Truly, all the food was delicious and the service was excellent. If ever in Evergreen, CO again, definitely going back!

Stopped by for an impromptu lunch. After asking the waitress if we could sit outside we found a table on the patio which actually wasn’t too noisy from the street. We were served chips and salsa right away as we had a chance to review the menu. We settled on a frozen strawberry margarita and the shrimp tacos. The margarita was good and refreshing but not very strong. The shrimp tacos were good although the tortillas didn’t seem very fresh or homemade (not that it states that they were) however the jicama slaw and cream were delicious. Waitress was very personable and attentive!

Delicious! This place has a great atmosphere. The service was lovely. The menu is allergen friendly, I was able to easily identify the gluten and dairy products and they work with your allergies which is great! I didn’t feel like a bother. The price is reasonable and for the portion it is well worth it.

We stumbled upon the gem of a place by accident. And we loved it!!’ The patio is nice, the margaritas were delicious, and the food was super fresh. I’ve also had the best homemade flour tortillas I’ve ever had!
