I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, it took a while to find the perfect time because they’re only open a few hours a day and close at 3. I got the combo noodles, it hit the spot. it was so good, the flavor was strong and the broth was rich. noodles and meat were perfectly cooked. the prices are amazing, especially for the portion size. I also got the Che Thai it was so good, the durian even tasted fresh. My coworker got a Vietnamese coffee and she said it was amazing. I’d definitely recommend getting here as early as you can, they often have a line going out the door. next time id definitely try one of their “lunch boxes”.

Wowza! I haven’t been this excited about a restaurant in quite awhile. Got wind of this place and hurried right over. The line was out the door but fortunately I was rolling solo so I was able to snag the only available seat at the counter. Soup combo with BBQ pork, roast pork and roast duck was absolutely AMAZING! The iced coffee was extra creamy. Sitting at the counter felt like I was in the Flushing neighborhood of NYC. Super friendly people and a very well structured layout. Talk about getting things done! Everyone looked happy! Upon entering there were about 8-10 glistening ducks hanging on the front window. By the time I left there weren’t any. I’ve heard they sell out, then that’s that for the day. Watched the to-go orders going out and the portions were incredible. The owner popped out to see what was happening and was all smiles. Rightfully so. I understand there is about to be a Seattle location which is going to be a game-changer! Lastly, their chili oil is so good and definitely add pickled jalapeños to your soup!

I met up with my mom for lunch here a couple of weeks ago. She had been raving about it, so I was really looking forward to trying it, especially since it’s so close to where I live. We arrived a little before 11:00 am and were able to grab seats at the counter almost right away.
The place was very busy, which is always a good sign. There was a constant stream of people coming in to pick up orders, and although the shop is quite small with limited seating, it’s easy to see why there’s usually a line.
The staff was very nice and clearly hard working people.
We ordered the roasted pork noodle soup, and it was fantastic. The pork was crispy, the noodles were the perfect size with a great chew, and the broth was rich and flavorful. Portions are generous, I couldn’t even finish mine and was happy to take the rest home.
I definitely recommend coming here. You won’t regret it.

Our pedicure lady recommended this place, and I am so glad she did. You can get a whole duck for 35 and we also got BBQ pork and sides of rice and drinks and it was all only 60 dollars.

We were quickly greeted with the smell of BBQ pork and duck. The waiter and staff were so kind and on top of it. He really sold me on the dessert haha. He reminded me of my uncle . I felt so welcomed and had such an amazing experience. In addition to the great service, the food was just as amazing. Great portions, fresh, crispy, and flavorful. I will be coming back!

This place showed up as a recommendation on google maps, I read the reviews and I was intrigued and the pictures sold me.
So I went and visited today, as I was going there, there were also others going there and it was full so we had to wait.
A group behind me was seated first before me and that kind of annoyed me but I just thought of the possibly delicious food and maybe this was a test of my patience. So I waited patiently and resisted the urge to leave.
Thank God I stayed, eventually senpai noticed me and I had a place to sit. The waitress was nice and welcoming. She gave me some piping hot jasmine tea and gave me some time to think about what I wanted.
I wanted to try all the meats they had so I ordered the meat combo noodle soup. The dish looked very appetizing with pork slices and duck portions with noodle and vegetables.
The broth was perfect tasting as the flavorful fats from the meat added to its allure.
The egg noodle was great just like how I like from another restaurant I frequented.
The roast pork still had a crunchy skin and nice flavor. The duck had even more flavor and went well with the noodle soup.
The combination of meats, noodles, broth and vegetables made this dish spectacular.
I ordered some roast pork to go but they sold out and my order couldn’t be completed.
Overall, this is my new favorite noodle soup spot in the west coast. Sangkee is my favorite in the east coast.
I highly recommend this place for replenishing your calories with a nutritiously delicious meal.

This place ALWAYS shows up on the best Tacoma restaurants. It DIDNT disappoint. The staff were very pleasant and the food was even better. The bbq and soup were delicious. It is buried in the Lincoln district but park and walk a bit to eat there. They have a great ability to do take out but have a small eat in area as well.

This place was highly recommended by a friend. We were informed they ran out of duck and had only pork. Overall, the food tasted really good. Customer service was 50-50 for me and the space for dine-in is quite limited. I do plan to return. Hopefully, they will have duck available.

Came here from Olympia and we could hardly get in the door there were so many people here eating and waiting to eat, for great reason!!! The lunch special was fantastic with crispy and slightly sweet duck and roasted pork belly with super crispy skin. The pickled vegetables and jalapenos were perfect to cut through the rich and succulent meats! Broken rice was delicious too! Will definitely be back as soon as I can!
