Our family of 5 enjoyed the historic ambience and great food (the ribeye was flavorful and delicious and my wife enjoyed the crab cakes). The salad with strawberry vinegarette was delightful and the homemade rolls were off the charts.

Add a fantastic ribeye it was prepared perfectly and the spices on it were amazing my wife had the half rack of ribs and it was fall off the bone she loved it. I had the shrimp cocktail appetizer and it was excellent. Also had a great local Utah Wasatch Evolution amber beer.

My lunch Chicken Entree was $16 and looked like this. My boyfriend got the Chicken sandwich which came with the same things, fruit side and chicken breast, but on a bun with lettuce and tomato. He also order a side salad. He had more food than me and his total still cost less than my “entree”. At least, The inside looks cleaner and more open than the previous restaurant that was there. I tried Cattleman’s for the first time recently. It was great! The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were on point. I loved the potato. They also have a great salmon dinner. Lastly the waiter and owner were super friendly. For dessert I loved the house made strawberry cheesecake.

Me and one friend ordered the Beef tenderloin. For 36$ we both received a ridiculously small portion of filet tail (I guess it was less than 4oz) with less than a handful of rosemary potatoes. It was tasting great though. But for this price you cannot provide tail tips. (BTW in the restaurant across the street they have filet tail tips on their menu for 19$.)
On the other hand another friend had the prime rib which was huge and tasted great.

Very great restaurant, very western feel, especially if you’re looking for a Texas type environment. Their ribeye steak is very very good. Didn’t need to add any salt or pepper, it was full of flavor. Very great service.

We were here on a quiet night. Service was great and the space is charming. I had the sticky salad that was very generous and it hit the spot after an active day. My daughter had the grilled chicken breast with the best baked potato she has ever had. Again, generous portions. The rolls are to die for.

Fantastic dinner!! The sticky chicken salad was amazing and my fiancée said the steak salad was the best meal she’s had in ages!! The steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender and flavorful!! Jason was so welcoming and gave us great service. Highly recommend!!

Our family had a lunch following our mother’s funeral where they closed the restaurant to just our family. The staff was terrific, the food was delicious and they added food to the menu to honor our mother’s funeral—Parker House Rolls and Lemon Poke Cake. We couldn’t have had a better family meal to celebrate our mother/grandmother/great grandmother. If you’re in Panguitch, I highly recommend you stop here for a meal.
