Everything, everything is just so well designed. I felt like I went back in time or was on a movie set. Beautiful set up.
The bartenders are on point. Fantastic cocktails and friendly.
The food is perfectly prepared and presented. Worth the prices.
The over all hotel and cinema down stairs is stunning. Can’t wait to return.

Got the $130 Roxy Plateau that’s suppose to come with 24 oysters, 8 shrimps, 8 clams, ceviche, mussels, and lobster. What we got was 22 oysters, 0 shrimps, 8 clams, way OVERCOOKED ceviche (the waiter was even confused whether that dish was ceviche or our 8 shrimps!), half empty shell mussels, and overcooked lobster. If you order this platter definitely check to see what you got because a lot was clearly missing. They did give us the missing items but there was lots of confusion in the process. Quality in food wasn’t there at all. The 1 star is for the great live music.

I’m staying at this hotel with my spouse, I am here for Tribeca, I’m dining here almost always and had just had brunch (staff at bar super nice). I am walking towards the staff guy at the Oyster Bar – not sure if he is a server as he was just standing there (hair pulled back, beard at around 2 pm June 7) and I had not said a word to him (not a single word) and he said to me – “I don’t have time right now” –excuse me, what?? I’m dressed nicely, I am in a good mood and this guy has to try and ruin my mood? For no reason whatsoever. Rude beyond.

Went for the Oysters, they were not bad but I was expecting better.
Had the Atlantic Salmon and the Seafood Pasta which were both amazing.
Highly recommended.

Stopped in for the happy hour oyster special: $1.50 each. The atmosphere is pretty neat. The service was not on par with the prices… An unsweetened iced tea was $6.00 and no one even offered me a refill. Draft beers run $10, with Stella Artois bottles on special for $5 during happy hour (4-6pm, I think).
The biggest disappointment was the temperature of the oysters. For a place called “The Oyster Bar” and a giant sign on the side of the building touting oysters, you’d think their oyster game would be strong. Nope! The two things I dread when ordering raw oysters… Smells and warm oysters. A warm oyster really makes you wonder why they are warm… Do they understand how seriously ill you can get if oysters are mishandled? Anytime I get warm oysters, I lose confidence in the restaurant. Check out the Roxy Hotel/Cinema for the atmosphere, but head somewhere else for oysters.

We were at the bar for literally 20 mins. The bartender NEVER made eye contact, she rather to stay at the bar without doing nothing instead of taking our order.
We ended up leaving the place. There is no customer service skills at this place.
I’m not coming back.

Went to the Roxy with friends for Sunday brunch. Great place! Great experience! You pay the cover charge and you can eat whatever they have as much as you can fit into your stomach. If you add another $20 on top, they offer unlimited brunch drinks. The deal works for 2 hours. They have various types of seafood (oysters, shrimps, fish, scallops, etc), meat, eggs, ham, pasta, potatoes, burgers, etc – all food is delicious! They have bunch of various desserts. Good music, good vibes. Service was great too. We will definitely come back!

I was seated at the bar waiting during 25 minutes and the bartender never made eye contact either say hi. During that time I had the leftovers from the people that was seated there before me, no one came to clean it. I will never go back, don’t waste your time there!

At about 10:50 PM I ordered fries and a coke. I unfortunately received poor service. The waiter placed the menus at the bar for us to reach and I walked to him to pick up the menus. I knew my order and he wouldn’t take my order until he had my credit card in hand. I requested waters during my order and he never brought them out. I had to get up and ask another bar keep for a water. My 1 coke was over priced at 5 dollars; next time I’ll walk over to the 7/11 and buy a liter for 2 dollars. The waiter also talked to other staff and still no service or follow up. I will make sure to contact the manager personally and see that service is at the forefront of this location. I am disappointed and hope to see change in the treatment of their customers. I hope our server will take a moment to read on customer service. May I recommend ‘Be Our Guest’ by The Disney Institute.
