First impression is most important. CLEAN
Second hospitality.
3rd Food.
4th portions. All were may more than expected. Price was great. Lobster tail and steak was Amazing. I’d come back. 10☆.
Was a great place for my wife’s Bday.
We arrived early and the restaurant was only about 20% full. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered two Long Island Iced Teas. The bartender stepped away and returned with the drinks already made. While that may be standard procedure, it was disappointing not to see the cocktails prepared in front of us — especially since we were the only guests at the bar and the bar itself was fully stocked. Both drinks tasted overwhelmingly sweet, like mostly sour mix, and we could barely detect any alcohol. For $30 for two cocktails, we expected better balance and quality.
At dinner, I ordered my steak medium well. I understand that this cook can be tricky, but this is a steakhouse — and my steak came out fully brown and dry, clearly well done with no pink in the center. Another person at our table ordered medium well and received theirs correctly with pink inside, so the kitchen clearly knows how to prepare it properly.
Overall, between the watered-down cocktails and an overcooked steak, the experience simply didn’t match the price point. We were expecting a quality steakhouse meal and left underwhelmed.
At lunch one day it was 2.99, dinner next week was 4.99, raspberry was 3.49.
I dont know why, maybe they have surge pricing at this location. Seams shady and I dont like it.
We started with the Texas Tonion appetizer, it’s sooo good. Hubby had the Longhorn, a 22 oz porterhouse with a huge baked potato and a salad as his 2 sides. I had the Outlaw, a bone in 20 oz ribeye with asparagus and crispy brussel sprouts as my 2 sides.
The steaks were cooked perfectly, just the way we ordered them. The portions are HUGE!! Between the two of us, we brought home so much that it was dinner for the two of us the following night. Only two slightly negative things to say, the crispy brussel sprouts were burned, maybe that’s how crispy brussel sprouts are meant to be (?), I’ve honestly never had them before this. Also, their Texas Tito’s Tea, their version of a Long Island Ice Tea is really weak, they could do SO much better on that. Everything else tho was great!
Service was prompt and really friendly. Appropriate amount of wait time for the food.
Highly recommended anyone thinking of trying them out to definitely do so!
Edit: Been coming here for awhile now and haven’t ever had any problems with the service or the food. This trip I think we came too early and received the sides that were left over from the lunch rush.
My buddies sirloin was tough and needed A1 sauce. Both of our Mac and cheese dishes were dry and the noodles were hardened like they’d been sitting awhile. I hope we were just unlucky and that this isnt happening often~
Sides were good, especially the Mack n cheese.
Margarita was great.
Service was good as well.
The atmosphere was ok. Dark. Needed little more cleaning. Food leftovers on the sofas.
