Today I was in the mood for a really good salad and decided to grab one from Jim N Nicks. It may sound crazy that I would overlook all of the other delicious barbecue menu items and go for a salad, but boy am I glad I did! This was absolutely the best salad I’ve ever had in my life!
The bed was a typical garden salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, bacon, croutons spinach, even almonds. I chose to get mine without the almonds and have onions added instead. For the protein, you can pretty much choose pulled pork, smoked chicken, or any of the other meats. I added chicken strips to mine. The dressing I chose was the house vinaigrette, which consisted of an olive oil vinaigrette blend that was amazingly good..
The salad was huge. Imagine styraphone take-out container full with two freshly made cheese biscuits on the side. The chicken strips were unbelievable! A small styraphone container packed with huge chunks of deep- fried chicken breast that almost seemed like an entree size.
My salad was fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying that I honestly wouldn’t hesitate ordering it again instead of the barbecue. Don’t get me wrong, the ribs fried catfish ( bet you didn’t know they have a catfish sandwich) are great, you have to try their salad too.
Seriously, the next time you’re craving a fresh salad, give Jim N Nicks a try. You won’t be disappointed!

The service was superb! I was greeted warmly and treated with genuine respect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and had a fun, festive atmosphere. My only concern was the food. The burger was drier than expected and not quite to my taste, the mac and cheese noodles were very thick and heavy on the cheese, the deviled eggs had seasoned salt which I didn’t personally enjoy, and the biscuits were just okay, though they were served warm. The prices were great! Overall, I still had a great experience and would return to try a different dish.

Brand new, clean and everything is laid out perfectly inside and out. Very accommodating. Drive-through is wonderful. Good speed for a barbecue place. Great service.

The burger is so weak, I would not recommend.

I love the brisket, I don’t like that it’s wrapped in saran wrap. Micro plastics.

Brisket sandwich was tasty and the buns are soft, but there is a good amount of fat attached to the marbled brisket and is hard to pull off until you take a bite and start chewing then you have to spit out what you are chewing to pull the fat off, then put the food back in your mouth. It’s easier to see the fat on the brisket when you order it by the lean slice instead of marbled. The sandwich deal was cheaper though. Everything had good smoked barbecue flavor. The smoked Chicken great.

The wings are tasty, but they are jumbo and we don’t like jumbo wings.

The ribs are delicious. I like their sauce, it’s the right consistency and flavor tasting homemade. I like the fresh pickles on the plate.

Fries, potato salad, coleslaw, greens, baked beans were all wonderful. Oh my-those cheddar little biscuits are A1.

Fries can be too SALTY

Brisket chili is good too.

Chicken was raw today. Potato salad was mashed potatoes.

I wanted something sweet, but their two desserts weren’t my type.

Decent menu options and decent pricing. A high-level consistent barbecue spot makes sense over here and I believe they’ll do well. The other mom and pop barbecue spot up the road can’t compete with this big chain. They’d have to step up their appearance and reduce pricing. I recommend this place and come back.

Every staff member was very helpful. Made the experience great. I ended up stopping the cook Dre, he refilled our drinks without hesitation, and let me know he has to return to the kitchen but other staff members on the floor will assist.
The food was cooked to perfection. Everyone wore a smile and moved with grace.

For it to be a friends and family event and the staffs first time serving customers, the team was impeccable, couldn’t even tell they were all new.

Placed an order online via Jim N Nicks BBQ. My order was completed within the promised time plus it was correct. The tastiest food item was the corn on the cob. I really enjoyed the seasoning. A close second were the muffins. The banana pudding was good but a bit on the sweet side. I also enjoyed the baked beans. The ribs were really good on one hand but waaaaay to salty.

Food and service is decent. Went to Fayetteville location drive-thru for a late lunch around 2pm. Ordered single burger with everything and fries. Parking lot is about 1/3 full.

I examine food before I eat it. Were you out of lettuce today ? A spot of mayo huh?

This was our second time eating here at this location. Both times we ordered online and picked it up. The first time, they forgot a hamburger that my daughter ordered. No big deal. I told someone and they said it was accidentally put in another to-go bag and made another one for us. The food that time was really good. The hamburger was cooked perfectly, the collard greens had a really good taste, and my daughter loved the bbq corn on the cobb. This time, we were really disappointed and I hate that I wasted my money. It was my daughter’s birthday and she requested Jim-N-Nick’s for her birthday dinner. Highly disappointed! To start off, we ordered a single patty cheeseburger with only cheese, mayonnaise, bacon, mustard and ketchup with no onions, lettuce, or tomatoes. What do you know? It was 2 patties, and had everything on it. It also was not cooked properly. Like not just medium rare, the tops of the patties still had a little pink on them. She couldn’t eat it. The corn on the Cobb was not cooked all the way, tasted almost raw. The collard greens were really spicy, which is not how they were last time. My collard greens had mostly meat in them and not many greens at all. My sandwich did not come with coleslaw like it was supposed to. And when I picked up the order, I told the woman at the counter that we also had a sweet tea and she seemed kind of annoyed that she had to go get it. I don’t know if they are training more cooks or what the issue was, but it needs to be fixed. Everything is going up price wise. Eating something out is becoming more of a luxury for some people and I hate that I wasted my money here tonight. We only eat out about once a month and it was not worth the money. Like at all. We definitely will not eat at this location again. I did not drive all the way back to speak to the manager because we live about 30 minutes away and we honestly don’t want any more food from the place anyways.

I was visiting Atlanta from out of state and this place was recommended. The place was very nice and clean. The workers were so pleasant and nice but the food was a little disappointing. I got the pulled pork nachos, Brisket, Turkey, jalapeno sausage, Mac and cheese and collards. The Brisket was paper thin and dry, the turkey was good, also thin and jalapeno sausage was very tasty. All the meats came out cold, not Luke warm but cold. The sides were nice and hot. Mac & cheese was really good, collards was okay. The nachos was good especially with the cheese sauce but again came out cold. The shredded cheese wasn’t even melted. Also, it said pulled pork but I got tiny diced fatty pork pieces instead. Aside from not getting pulled pork meat, the nachos would have been AMAZING! if it came out hot. My friend had the half BBQ chicken and it came out cold as well. The manager was told by a sweet server our troubles. He gave a complimentary dessert but I wish I had a better experience with the food instead.

The food was spectacular, the service divine, the atmosphere rustic and chic! I got the brisket sandwich and fries. The fries are well seasoned and come in these metal containers to keep them warm! The brisket melts in the mouth at the first bite! Though it wasn’t as warm as I was expecting, it was still wonderful! Next time I’m going to try the brisket by itself and not in the sandwich.

The food has always been good…until tonight.
We wanted a burger and decided to try it here. However, I arrived to pick up my food and noticed a fry was missing but I also ordered another. I waited for my two fries (one with the meal and the extra). While I waited, I realized I was missing two drinks (30 oz) drinks. I received the fries and then she brought the drinks. As soon as I arrived home, the first thing my husband said, thats not 30 oz and he was correct because a 20 oz bottle couldn’t fit- which we measured after we tasted and poured out the non-carbonated drinks (tasted like seltzer). Then, we opened his JNN cheeseburger was missing cheese and the bacon that I paid for. So it was a naked burger but hey at least we got the 2 patties we ordered. We called and they wanted us to drive 20 minutes back up there to fix it, I politely declined. I already drove 20 there, 20 back and waited for 10-15 minutes while there. Perhaps tonight was an off night and I should have cooked lol. Nonetheless, their only saving grace was the young lady who helped me. She seemed to be a little overwhelmed but still attentive and helpful.
