Really good chicken spot! The chicken is thick and juicy and has a great flavor. Fries were nice and crispy and you get a lot, the tenders were also good crispy and juicy as well! The ranch is delicious. Prices were a bit high in my opinion close to restaurant prices and they don’t even have a big space to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal. Other then that the staff was very nice and food comes out quickly!

Lady at the counter was personable. Got the loaded fries, some of the best flavor balance on ingredients, the chicken was slightly dry but almost not noticeable because of the sauce everywhere and the pickles. A+ on portion size. Can’t do better for the price, good experience.

Prices are definitely high, but their food is second to none. It’s $20 bucks a head minimum. As far as the people in these reviews saying the workers are rude. They are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’ve never had a bad experience in that dept. especially the younger guy. He’s so nice!!

I had a bad experience at North Haven location with the Wrap I purchased, it was only crust instead of any chicken. I was very disappointed.. I did not want to happen that again so I mentioned it to Mellaine M and she took great care of it and did not charge me for it as well.. she did not have to do it, I loved Haven Hot so I just wanted a good one for future, but she took extra care of it and went above and beyond to make sure everything goes well. There was another gentleman who was also very friendly and went above and beyond in his customer service. Im very happy with the staff and service they provided. Thank you

We’ve previously visited Haven Hot’s original location in New Haven, and we’re already big fans, so we were super excited to visit their new location in Orange! This is a few minutes closer to home for us, and we love that this location has a parking lot and a couple of tables to sit at. The food was as good as ever! My boyfriend took down the double off menu sandwich for a second time, and he believes it was even hotter at this location than in New Haven. Though he may have shed some tears, he said the flavor of the sandwich was fantastic! Meanwhile, I stuck mild tenders, which was a perfect spice level for me. The chicken is always juicy, never dry, and the fried coating is perfect. I love their garlic dill pickles and all of Haven Hot’s speciality sauces, especially the Rob Sauce and Sweet Sauce. I tried their mac and cheese for the first time, which had just the right amount of black pepper for flavor. Get it topped with their house seasoning to really make it a game changer – I’m already addicted to their seasoned fries! Banana pudding is a great dessert to have on the menu to cool down with after a spicy meal. I’m sure it won’t be too long until we’re back for more!

First time trying haven hot chicken, and honestly super disappointed between the employee that assisted me and the food. First off the employee that helped me had a horrible attitude and was rude the whole time taking my order. Never had come here before so I was taking my time looking at the menu. Employee was extremely rude when I was trying to order, due to the fact I don’t like pickles I wanted to make sure my order didn’t have any. And she kept telling me the item I ordered doesn’t come with pickles but on the menu it stated that it did. Then the food was not the best, the chicken tasted like Popeyes in my opinion. The Mac n cheese wasn’t bad but it was extremely watery. Lastly the fries had no flavor, a few of them had salt but the ones that didn’t tasted like nothing. Overall super disappointed with the experience I had at this location.

This chicken is so great – easily beats out any fast food rival! Several spice levels to choose from, from no spice to incredibly spicy. We each got THE Sandwich – perfection! Juicy and crispy all at once.
Also notable – this place is open seven days a week, and open to everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are vegetarian and halal menu options, and an all-gender restroom.
There are limited dining seats inside, so expect to take out. Online ordering and mobile pickup are also available.
