Pretty good. We enjoyed this place. Food was good. Very flavorful. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. We were kinda surprised there weren’t more people, but we were visiting between the holidays. I couldn’t get a photo of everything since my family was eating it too fast. Overall, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and would consider returning.

This place has the best Indian food around! I asked for the dishes to be spicy, and wow, they really delivered on the heat—just the way I love it. The service was top-notch too. Everyone was super friendly and attentive, plus the food came out fast.

Very small portions and unimpressive food. Chicken kebabs were okay. Black daal was bland and soupy. How can you mess up such a simple dish? Roti and naan were undercooked and chewy. And the roti was gritty like eating sand. They didn’t include rice with any of the three entrees – how cheap. Menu should be marked for vegan and avoiding dairy options. That doesn’t take much effort. Butter chicken had only a few small pieces of chicken in it for 19 dollars. Very disappointed with takeout experience.

10/10 . The jhol momo and the thukpa I have no words . If the chef went on to compete on master chef he would be crowned instantly. This place needs a Michelin star ! The service is amazing. The servers are really friendly and kind. The atmosphere is pleasant and authentic. Overall an all rounded place. I have heard from friends that the tandoor items are also amazing. Will be trying that next.

Food was delicious. Ordered take away of Veg chowmein and chilli momos. Both were delicious. I ordered spicy version of chowmein but unfortunately they are not spicy enough for my palate and oily but chilli momos were super yum! I will definitely visit for in-person experience to enjoy hot food.

This is a fantastic restaurant! We ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala, Mango Lassi, Chicken Momo, naan, and rice, and every dish was incredibly delicious with very generous portions. I truly enjoyed everything, but what surprised me was the chai tea—it was, without question, the best chai I’ve ever had. And it’s free.
The service was equally excellent. Narayan was our server, and he was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient, which made the experience even better. We will absolutely be back soon!

We had a fantastic experience at The Gurkha Kitchen in San Ramon! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain menu highlights. Every dish we tried was rich in authentic Nepali and Indian flavors — especially the momo and thali — and beautifully seasoned. Portion sizes were generous and the overall value was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Himalayan cuisine with great service!

This place came as a surprise it has the best vegetarian thali the dal and pickle were app good Panner chilli and Goat curry were great as well. There was free Chai which was a cherry on top

Loved this spot! We had the chana masala and chicken tikka masala with rice and naan everything was super flavorful. They even give free tea, which was really good. Service was awesome, the staff was super friendly and attentive.
