After a day of hiking we were headed home and while driving through Northfield we were feeling a bit peckish. It’s always a risk stopping at a pizza place in a small town but I’m glad we did. We were warmly and humorously welcomed by the owner as soon as we walked through the door. We had a simple cheese pizza and it was quite good and fast. As a bonus it was very reasonably priced. We will be back the next time we’re passing through.

The decor takes me back to the late 70s when I was a kid. The food is made fresh.
The best experience is the owner. before he started making her food he gave each of our kids a dollar in quarters and encourage them to play Pac-Man on the house. He also was very positive and friendly. If anything was wrong with our meal I have no doubt he would have rectified it perfectly.
Budweiser, Bud Light, and Miller we’re on sale per glass and in pitchers. Very reasonably priced.
We stopped here on a whim on our way to the Northfield Drive-In. I guarantee we will be back to this place next time we come up.

We were visiting DL Moody’s birthplace and grave site and we stopped at Northfield Pizza House for lunch. We loved the nostalgic atmosphere! The pizza was delicious and we had a wonderful conversation with the owner who is very kind!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I came up north to visit family and on my way back through I needed to stop and ask directions to interstate 91. I stopped here to ask an employee and was met by the stores owner. He gave me the directions I requested and then insisted I bring the family in for pizza and sodas FREE before we hit the road. Bill said nobody leaves his place hungry! He made us a fresh large pizza and let us pick sodas all on the house as well as gave my daughter his own cash to play the jukebox while we mingled and waited for the food. He was very kind and proceeded to give us some great life advice while we sat and waited. He didn’t know who we were but when he spoke it’s as if he did know us. Very wise and kind man! Pizza was absolutely incredible!!! We will be stopping by EVERY visit back up North! We made it home safe Bill, thanks for everything!

The owner is absolutely amazing, he brings life to his pizza place hes very friendly and definitely gives service with a smile. The place has a nice homey feeling to it, there are a bunch of family photos and photos of his travels all over the place. It was very clean, there’s a juke box and a small arcade with a few games in it. He kept giving us quarters to play pack man and individually wrapped every left over slice of pizza we had in saran wrap then sent us on our way with a hug and a few pieces of candy. The dough and sauce definitely tasted home made. To those who have read the negative reviews if a kind soul chatting with you while you’re eating your meal maybe get your pizza to go & give the food a shot. I’m unsure where someone went to school but their school pizza was a hell of a lot better than what my school served. A lot of places don’t allow animals of any kind in places where you eat. My fiance and I will be telling our friends about this place and coming back 🙂

The pizza is tasty –the sauce especially–and with a generous amount of cheese and toppings–Greek pizza at its best. The owner is very friendly and on occasion he may want to chat–mostly about the absence of a gas station in Northfield. We have been loyal customers every Friday night for many years. We are so glad he is part of our community.

Ive passed by this place SOOOO many times in my life and have never stopped in, until now. 100/10 amazing. The owner brings the place to life. Hes an amazing out going guy who is very easy to talk to. Pizza is FANTASTIC. it was absolutley amazing.
Before we headed out he gave us a bunch of quarters to go play Pac man and other arcade games. Ive travel a lot for work and have had pizza from all over new england, hands down the BEST experiance ive had anywhere.
Me, my family and all my friends will becoming here for now on. The man speaks his mind, and in this day of age that is very hard to come by. I absolutely respect him for that.

When you find a place that has been making subs for 45 years, you know they are doing something right. I’ve been driving past this place for decades, but never had a reason to stop. Today, scheduling worked out that we needed dinner on the road. My husband had the steak and cheese, I had chicken parm; both were excellent. I will make a point to stop here in the future.

It was a monthly jaunt for a friend and I to stop in. It recently was closed a few times that we’d passed. This quaint shop was reopened in April, but we sensed it wasn’t the same owners.
The service was slow…20 min before we were acknowledged for a beverage…
another 10 min before our order was taken.
A younger couple came in and left after they’d finally gotten a beverage. We should’ve also…the original Rubens/fries
were great…not so this time.
The corned beef was like it a scoop of ice cream plopped in the middle of the sandwich, and it was now served with chips, (I preferred, but friend preferred the former fries order). We both had to remake our sandwiches before we ate them. We’ve not returned.
