So, usually, I wait a few days to post a review because I want to be sure of what I want to say. Today is different. I am still sitting in the booth at Rancho Grande Mex Grill. I’m doing this now because I do not want anyone to miss the opportunity to eat here.
To start, my Server, Sue Ellen, was GREAT, and pretty to boot.
The atmosphere is authentic Mexican and the decor matches everything to a tee.
Now the food. El Capitan, on California Avenue has been my go to for years for great Mexican food.
Rancho Grande has just taken that spot.
While it is a little out of the way, out on Allen Road near Rosedale, but well worth the drive.
I had the combination plate with three entrees.
Shredded Chicken Taco, Shredded Beef Enchilada, and a Tamale. Included was refried beans and Spanish rice. One word…..
AWESOME!!!!!!
I am not a chicken fan, but I wanted a variety of meats. The taco was the bomb.
The Enchilada was hot, juicy and good.
The Tamale was done perfectly.
I truly enjoyed the chips and salsa the comes with your service.
I usually do not review the restroom, but the one here was immaculate.

We love dining in or taking out. The food is always delicious, warm and flavorful. We enjoy the table salsa and bar drinks often with plates from camarones ala diabla to chile verde to go at lunch. It always does the job. Portions so big that we always share

The fajitas and flour tortilla flautas crush every other restaurant in Bako. They’re consistently made correctly unlike others who burn the meat and veggies or offer up reheated food(It’s happened a few times in other restaurants who offer buffets.) even though you ordered off menu.

My first visit was wonderful. The environment was colorful with stylish, well-kept furniture. There’s a bar area, though we didn’t order drinks. The lunch specials were reasonably priced, the food was excellent, and the service was flawless.

My party of 8 ate there yesterday, Sunday, around 3:00pm. My wife and I ordered a ground beef burrito with rice and beans. Unfortunately the ground beef and sause had entirely too much salt in it and we could not eat it. Normally this is a good dish to order and I would have given it 5 stars. Perhaps a different cook is on duty on the weekends.

Everything was great exalt my sons buffets were really hard and over cooked other than that the taco salad and the Chile Verde was delicious and tender had some Verde spice, definitely would order that again.

This place is as good of Mexican food as you’ll find out here. Very well seasoned and the salsa/chips were great! I think they could make the frozen margaritas a little bit sweeter/flavorful but they were strong so I can’t say too much negative on them. The beans were delicious and they had the Sunday games on in the bar. Great atmosphere and worth every penny! Will be back.

First off, food tasted great! Place was clean and there was no wait. However, once we ordered our food, it took almost 30min to get it. Its a little pricy. Nice portions, but still pricy. Kids menu is close to $10 and adults average $17. On top of that we were rarely checked on and I was offered one refill right as we were taking the check to go.

DELICIOUS Mexican food! The chili Verde was great, you could taste the fire rosted chili’s. The Carne aside burrito was great! Loved the chips and salsa. All are meals were fresh and hot. The rice had wonderful flavor, it was nice to have the rice separate and be most with a tasty flavor. The fajitas, sopes, hamburger and fries were also delicious! I highly recommend Rancho Grande, we will be back.
