Generous portions and flavorful Southeast Asian food. Great for takeaway.
If you’re craving Southeast Asian food and don’t mind taking it to go, check this out.
I ordered the Pad Thai ($20). It was flavorful and the portion was generous, might be enough for two people. It came loaded with chicken and shrimp, unlike many other Thai places that only offer one protein option and limited quantity. Overall: 9/10 for value for the price.
A few things to note:
• It’s takeout only, run by a lovely couple, so there can be a bit of a wait.
• Cash only, so come prepared.
• I recommend calling 10–20 minutes ahead to save time.
Friends of mine have tried other items from the menu and had great things to say too. I’ll come back for other options.

Got takeout from here for the first time, the couple was really nice friendly. Food was made-to-order with very fresh ingredients. Might seem expensive for takeout but the portion shows its worth. One of the best presentation I’ve ever seen from takeout. Will be back again to try more dishes for a more complete review. So far so good!

Incredible flavors, generous quantities and the dishes were in the $18 range. I’ll definitely be ordering again. The cooks were very generous and kind. They even wrote the dish numbers on the containers. Thanks for a phenomenal dinner.

The food is hands down best Thai I’ve had around and afar. This duo team will whip up fresh hone made dishes in due time! Cash only, and there may be a wait. But it’s worth it! Also, they make the biggest spring rolls I’ve ever seen.

Each meal at Wok In is a generous two portions, but more realistically three normal sized portions. The food is actually spicy and so flavourful. This is the kind of locally owned mom-and-pop establishment I’m happy to support. There are only two people taking orders and making the food, so it will take a while. And they only take cash, some come prepared.

Absolutely fantastic! A little hole in the wall on Montreal with the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are husband and wife and incredibly friendly, they do all the work themselves and it’s truly amazing. Their pad Thai is hands down the best in Kingston, and certainly the best I’ve ever had. But if you’re not into that they have a wide variety of various curries and other dishes. The portions are very large and you’re definitely going to get a lot of value out of the meal. Would highly recommend stopping here whether you live in Kingston or are just traveling through.

The food is great, but the customer service is terrible. They are frequently closed when their posted hours say they should be open and they don’t answer the phone. Completely unreliable and very frustrating. Easily some of the worst customer service in Kingston.
