A Hidden Gem with Heart and Flavor!
Guac Time is an absolutely beautiful and vibrant spot with an inviting atmosphere and authentic Mexican charm. I was especially impressed to see their HAFSAA certification, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and standards.
The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, genuinely some of the kindest people I’ve encountered. They went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect meal, offering thoughtful suggestions and making sure I felt completely taken care of from start to finish.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming environment. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved this place. We only eat at HAFSA or HMS certified places, and this place is certified.
I’d recommend the Hicksville location. Very quiet and peaceful place to dine in and enjoy some quiet time.
The Manhattan location wasn’t very nice to dine in.
I loved my birria tacos. My family loved their loaded nachos and loaded fries, which they could customize. The churros were a special treat. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with caramel filling.

I ordered a bowl to find a full on BLADE in my food just now. I had already returned home to eat and I bit into my bowl to feel the blade. When I called them all they said was sorry and they’d offer a free bowl for my next visit without even giving reassurance to double check their products as well!!
I am so lucky to not have been cut but how is a MUSLIM ESTABLISHMENT having this in their food.

Great place for some Halal food especially open late at night. Food is fresh. Staff is kind. Great for getting any type of bowl or burrito quesadilla tacos. Their churros are amazing.

I usually love going to Mexican spots because I’m a big fan of chipotle sauce. It’s honestly the main reason I enjoy wraps and bowls anywhere I go. When I visited Guac Time, I was disappointed to find out they were out of chipotle. The lady at the counter said she’d substitute it with another sauce, but honestly, it didn’t come close. Without the chipotle kick, the whole wrap tasted pretty bland.
This visit actually made me realize something: maybe all the other times I thought the wraps and bowls were amazing, it wasn’t really about the fillings or ingredients, it was just the chipotle sauce doing all the heavy lifting. Unfortunately, without it, Guac Time didn’t leave much of an impression.

Our lunch was so tasty , exploding with flavors. Portions were generous and as filled as we were I had to get tacos for later. The staff was pleasant and very friendly, served with a smile Surf and Turf and Jerk Chicken Bowls were soooo goood I’ll have to try them all eventually

Staff is rude and extremely stingy. They placed each topping in a little corner on the bowl, not covering the entire thing. I asked for a little bit more of a topping and they counted it as a double topping and charged. I am extremely upset about my experience here, will not be returning to this location.

great food. there’s no mats to wipe your feet when you walk in, and when it’s raining the tiles get very slippery. every time i bring it to the attention of the workers no one seems to care. very dangerous. i would think that customer safety would be a high priority. apparently not.

Came by the restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. I ordered a rice bowl with the honey chipotle chicken, cilantro rice, black beans, onions, tomatoes, corn, avocado, sour cream, crisps, chipotle sauce, and the red/hot picante sauce. It was just the right size. The chicken was flavorful and the sauces complimented each other and went well with the overall bowl. I thought it tasted better than what I get at Chipotle. I’ll be visiting again. Hopefully the good service, portion sizes, and the quality of proteins and sauces stay the same. They offer halal food. There is plenty of parking at the back of the restaurant.

I’ve ordered here in the past multiple times, I’ve ordered the birria tacos and never in my experience has it ever came with cheese or chipotle sauce. I’ve ordered online and it has never given me an option ever to modify it. I called and the response I got was so nasty and rude. Basically telling me I’m wrong and they would not remake them because It would not look good for the business and refused to refund me my money. I spoke to an employee and so called “manager” (lying thief). I will never come back and you’ll be hearing from better business on how to handle loyal customers. Disgusting how dare you rude people!!! This behavior will not stand and will not be tolerated!!!!!
