Did a friends birthday dinner here, the food came at a reasonable time, as did the chef. The food was really good, Tuan was awesome, friendly and funny. Overall it was a great first experience.

Came here for a birthday dinner. The chef put on a great show and prepared excellent food. We also ordered some sushi and those that had it said it tasted great. Our only complaints are that it took forever to get our sushi salad (most people had finished half their food by the time it arrived) and that their cocktails were unimpressive (tried a mojito and a mile and both seemed watered-down).
Overtake a fun and delicious restaurant. But stick to the beer or wine over cocktails.

This place looks small & unassuming from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Their food is top-notch – I had salmon & others in my party had steak or calamari. The chef put on a show that made us all smile & added to the jovial atmosphere. Every bite was bliss & I hope to visit again soon.

First time here so we were really excited. Checking in was a breeze, we were seated right when our reservation was. The customer service wasn’t the problem. It was the food. The chef served everyone else, even the people who had double rice…and then it was us last and we didn’t even get the bare minimum. Not even a full spatula. So we had to order another rice just to make it even. Such a disappointment. The chicken was really overcooked. Unfortunately, we will have to find another teppanyaki place to enjoy in Sac. Never coming back again.

The food here is genuinely good and that’s the reason for the 3 stars. Tep was also helpful and resolved the billing issue we had, which we appreciated.
However, our experience was negatively affected by an inappropriate comment from Jacob. He made a remark about ordering a double cheeseburger that came across as a dig at my weight. As someone who is pregnant, I found this hurtful and unnecessary.

OMG I don’t even know where to start. First time here today and I was extremely pleased with the service and quality this place provided. The atmosphere was pleasant, clean and welcoming! People were great, food was AHHHHHHHMAZZZZINGGGG! I highly recommend this place! Prices are also great, not bad at all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐& in my book! I hardly give 5 stars so good job

Double Birthday Dinner @ Wasabi restaurant in Elk Grove. When I go to Hibachi grills I usually tend to order the same food, chicken & shrimp with fried rice and hose salad… Very Tasty. I love e the show and the skills that the chefs hate entertain us all at the Dinner table. I was able to capture some of the action at our table so disregard all the chatter, crazy elephant killing baby stories, and any other loud funny obscenities. It was a nice dinner with family. Good Food, Good Fun, Good Times..
