I have been eating at the Crack House since it was on 4th street. This is the complete details on this place. It’s not a fine dining establishment, it’s a hole in the wall, small mom and pop with big flavors. Is it cheap ?…NO but neither is McDonald’s….Is it Fast?….No its not a fast food restaurant like Wendy’s Is it delicious? YES…yes it is…Great Flavor good variety ….all around if you are not in a rush it’s worth the wait.

The younger staff members could use some training on proper customer service but its not bad enough for me to write the place off.

It’s breakfast is AMAZING!!!!

I have had the king Crab legs feast with sausage and shrimp ….flavors completely on point.

Most recent visit was for burgers again slam dunk on flavors.

We went here one Saturday, I got the Cajun Burger with fries and my boyfriend got the sautéed 1/2 lb of shrimp with potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the flavors were top notch and the staff was so friendly! We will definitely be back!

WARNING: Expensive. Bad food. Mediocre service.
We were excited to see a seafood restaurant opening in our area and we went out to support it. There were a lot of interesting-looking items on the menu. We ordered 1/2 pound crab legs, 1 pound boiled shrimp, two small side salads, hard boiled eggs and two waters. The price was pretty high, $80.16 for two people (incl. 20% tip paid at the counter before we got our order), but we took a chance because we had read good reviews and we like to support new restaurants. Long story short, we were VERY disappointed. It was not busy but the food still took forever. The drink machine was broken. Each small glass of ice water was only 3/4 full and there was nobody to refill your glass. They were out of hard-boiled eggs. The crab legs were ice cold and no crab shell crackers or tools were given to remove the meat. I asked for a crab cracker and got a nutcracker that might have worked well for a pecan, but was too big to crack the small crab legs, and the plastic fork couldn’t pull the meat out of the shell. The boiled shrimp, on the other hand, were hot enough to burn your fingers and incredibly greasy. I’ve never seen anything like it. There was hot grease trapped inside the shells. They were so soaked with grease, the lemon butter wouldn’t even stick to it, it just rolled off. I like fat, but the shrimp left an oil slick in my mouth and water wouldn’t wash it down. I tried eating salad to get the grease out of my mouth, but the lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes were mushy and the cucumbers were freezer-burned. It may have been one of the worst dining experiences I ever had.

Stopped by on our way through town, I had the trio and my bf had the fish combo and all of it was AMAZING!! Perfectly seasoned, we didn’t leave a single bite. I wish we lived closer this would be our regular spot. The staff was so nice and checked on us multiple times. 10/10

It’s in the city mall, so atmosphere is lacking, but not their fault. Some folks may want to get their food to go.

It’s a family operation and their kids help as servers, they’re young and learning the ropes still, so thing may be a little slow. Give them some more time and I highly doubt it will be an issue.

As for the food, 11/10 score. Everything was top notch.

Much like anywhere nowadays, you get 2 meals, an appetizer, and 2 drinks.. you’re spending at least 40 bucks.

My wife and I whole heartedly agreed that this was the first time in a while where we ate and felt we were given a GOOD value for what we spent.

Good portions, unique flavors, and just downright delicious.

Highly recommend.

Honestly not very good food. Mine and my husband’s food was smothered in a very blad butter sauce. I had the shrimp he had the crab. I asked for a half pound of shrimp which apparently is 9 pieces. The sides I got were mac and cheese and fries. Honestly they were better than the main meal but still not the best. I’m still hungry and now have to go home and eat more. I will not be going back due to the lack of flavor and overpriced food for hardly anything.

I really had high hopes from what I had heard. My group ordered burgers and wings. They only had Sprite in a can to drink or tap water. After sitting there for 30 minutes they came out and said that they were out of wings so those orders got burgers also. At around the 45 minute mark they finally brought the first burger. It was on toasted bread because they were out of buns. The rest of the burgers came one at a time over the next 20 minutes. I think that they were cooking on a George Foreman grill. They were unapologetic and the food was not good. I would recommend gas station sushi over this place.

Had the 1/2 crab and 1/2 shrimp for the wife, and honestly, I’m very shocked at how horribly bland everything was. We threw the leftovers in the garage cause I didn’t want to take that garbage of a meal home. 58 dollars later, and still hungry, the only thing that tasted good was the soda I had, 1 out of 10 but more like 0 out of 10. Never coming back, don’t know what the rave is about this place.

The best catfish I’ve ever eaten personally. Buttery, flakey, and well seasoned. The prices are very reasonable for how much food you get per plate and the staff was very welcoming. I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
