Heard to decide what to get, so we got some of everything! Chow chow was yummy and spicy. Brisket was wonderful. My table also liked the pork and chicken and catfish. I wouldn’t get the links again – too lean and spicy? We’re we’re there on Sunday and got the wonderful squash. Key lime pie and chocolate pie was a hit. We took home about half of all our food. Stay was very courteous. Tables and restaurant clean.

Went through drive-thru. Took 19 minutes from time of ordering until we got food being the 3rd car. The car at the window got order, handed it back, got order again, handed it back, got order again, handed it back. 19 minutes of this mess. I was thinking it was the person in the car being a pain, should have took that as a warning. Got our $25.00+ order, for a small order and I was so angry for sitting there for 19+ minutes, just drove away and went home. Got home and opened the bag, that cheese burger was a God awful, dry as dirt BBQ sandwich. The wife’s BBQ plate wad just as bad. I don’t eat their BBQ because it’s not good at all. Had to stomach half the sandwich because I was not going all the way back over there and playing that game again. They need to get their act together.

Great bbq. Service was good. Nice employees. Came in with my family when we were moving my sister and brother in law to Madison from Florida. Was a nice meal after a long day of unloading a moving truck. Had the football game on too which was nice to not miss.

The first time I visited I went through drive through. The 2nd, I sat on patio. Great atmosphere and the employees are super friendly. The restaurant is very clean and decorated nicely.
I had 1/2 ribs meal and my friend had brisket. The ribs were a little salty to me. That could be because I rarely eat salt. We paid $46 for 2 meals which is a lot for fast food and not plentiful.
I love the patio but they don’t have adequate fans. They are very high on ceiling so you can barely feel air.

We stopped in for lunch today and really enjoyed it. I felt like I was in SEC heaven with all the college decor! The service was exceptional! From being greeted upon entry, to the cashier all the way until we were served and left. Super nice staff! The food was hot and fresh. Portions were huge and the sweet tea was sweet tea’n! Standout menu item for the kiddos were their half moon cookies! We will definitely stop back in!

I ate inside on a Tuesday evening. The drive through was busy, but inside was empty. The woman at the counter was a step below surly, barely speaking to us through the order.
I got the half chicken with collard greens and fried okra and my wife got the Southern Soul Bowl w/ Chicken and Alabama White Sauce.
After paying and sitting, we were told that they were out of collard greens and they didn’t offer a replacement for her bowl. I got corn on the cob as a replacement after being told they were out of black eyed peas as well.
My chicken was very tender, a touch too tender for my tastes. The okra was fried well, just needed some salt.
My wife’s bowl was sauced with the incorrect sauce, though the grits were good. Overall, she was satisfied with the bowl, though it would’ve been better with the collard greens.
Portions were generous for the price, we left with enough for 1 lunch the next day.

12-20-2025. Last night I had my son and daughter in law with me, I have always enjoyed the smell of the food! And tonight was the night to try for myself. Needless to say, the ribs were excellent and the sides were a huge portion. I left full and very happy! I highly recommend this restaurant. And lastly, I would like to commend the staff. Great atmosphere, entertainment on every wall. Come and enjoy the BBQ and watch your favorite teams play! You will be very pleased.

MELTED PLASTIC ON SANDWICH, food safety alert. I never post food reviews, much less bad ones. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever posted a bad review for anything. But this was such a let down. The fries were great, then as I started on the sandwich I realized it tasted funny. Like plastic. Because I was indeed eating melted plastic. Photos show it best. This also explains why the last two times I got their sandwiches they tasted funny, except those times I plated my food and threw away the container, so I never saw it was burnt through. Basically a whole side of the sandwich was covered in melted plastic but you can’t see it when you eat, it looks just fine, that’s the crazy part. This is why I had stomach cramps, come to think of it. Ew. How hard is it to just not put extra hot stuff straight in a flimsy plastic container? Use some aluminum foil. Not rocket science. Ugh. Never again. If I could give zero stars, I would. This is about food safety. Beware.

Sorry Full Moon but your restaurant in Madison, MS is not ran as well as the restaurants in Birmingham are. I don’t understand why you serve hamburger buns for bread, boy is that cheap! The Birmingham restaurants serve Texas Toast. The amount of food you receive for the cost is not worth it. The pork plate has very small portions for the high cost. Do better if I’m going to return….Very disappointing!

I ordered a rib plate that was supposed to come with two sides. I ordered two sides but only received one and the one I did receive (fried okra) was cold and hard like it was sitting out all day. The ribs were cold and extremely salty. This was after being told they were out of what I ordered originally. So I basically paid $22 for decent sweet tea. Save your money and go to any other BBQ restaurant.
