I have waited for Tina’s to open, and joined their Insta page for updates. When they opened, I knew the wait for fabulous pizza, was over. I love Bettina’s but waiting for a reservation when one wanted ‘pizza now’ was often met with frustration. Now, one can walk in and order, or call ahead and order and walk out…easy peasy.
However, you may want to stay and eat it in the open air courtyard. It’s beautiful and well appointed. Greenery, a water feature, heaters (for chilly weather), fire places, comfy couches, sweet seating, gorgeous wood tables, plants, etc. It’s so pretty. There are indoor places to sit as well. There are high chairs for the littles, and access to restrooms. There are several resturants surrounding the courtyard.
My friend and I each ordered the Pepperoni Pizza from Tina’s. YUM!! They are delicious and are also lightly drizzled with Honey! Yum, yum, yum! She ordered a Ale from the Slam Burger place. I had a lovely Kombuccha from Tina’s. We ordered Yellow-Tail Cerviche from another restaurant, and fried plantains which were so good!
The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and so pretty. You order and then find a seat. Your buzzer will alert you when your food is ready.
We sat on a comfy gray couch next to a fire pit. My only concern, was that the side “tables” were waaaay too small. And balancing your food on a fire pit was okay, but we wondered what we’d do if we also needed the fire to be on.
Otherwise, our experience was awesome! The food was absolutely exquisite, and the new ‘mall’ was worth the wait. Tina’s was/is worth the wait.
It’s just a short car ride away from Santa Barbara to Carp. Get off at the Linden Exit and follow Linden down until you reach the address, 732 Linden Avenue. Free parking on the street.

Hands down the best pizza in Carpinteria! The crust is perfectly baked…crispy on the outside and soft inside. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. The staff is welcoming and the service is quick. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or a full pie for the family, Tina’s delivers on quality and taste.

Love this addition to Carp! I like having a casual alternative to Bettina with the same incredible pizza dough and lots to do within walking distance. Also the snack / provisions area is a great place to get snacks for the beach. Will be back!

Your salads are not fresh or prepared with crisp lettuce not soggy lettuce and there is not much other trimmings. Dressings have sugar in them and you should make your own croutons. Your cupcakes and cookies are meh

And your front staff need to be welcoming.

Can’t support this greedy or expensive local business.

Pros: Great atmosphere.

Cons: $26 for a 6-slice single topping pizza is insane! Additionally, $4 for each additional topping?!

Will remain loyal to our local Rusty’s and Giovannis Pizza restaurants in town. Great prices, delicious food and ice-cold drinks.

Had the vegan salad and de-veganized it by adding the chicken – super yummy delicious and left no bite behind.

The friendly and helpful female gal that was working helped me pick out a nice vino to go with my meal. Thanks, awesome lady rocking the “fall is here” fit with the sweet Vans!

Absolutely phenomenal pizza. I’ve been to Bettina’s a bunch and always loved it so I was so happy when I heard they were opening another closer to where I live. The pizza was just as good and actually they had a new item, garlic knots which were amazing. I’m a garlic knot lover from my days growing up in New Jersey and these were better than any I ever had.
Things were a bit chaotic there with so many customers around the plaza but the staff seemed to be trying hard to get the food out. Props to them

Delicious pizza! We love the full service restaurant and were eager to try Tina’s. It is just as good. Definitely our fav local pizza.
The atmosphere was a bit chaotic in Linden Square because of the lack of tables available. It was super difficult to find a place to be able to sit and eat. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’d come back except for to-go orders. Fortunately, we can have an amazing dining experience at Bettina.

I feel so lucky that my friends suggested Tina’s for dinner. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We got the margarita and pepperoni. I loved those roni cups. Perfect size and great taste. I’ll be returning for sure
