Clean and bright! Our server was funny and friendly. The guacamole was AMAZING, the house salsa was great, too! We both had the chili rejeno, which we highly recommend!

The food here was really good. The service could have been better. They were really nice and friendly but could work on their service of getting what you need and checking on you. Big menu, a very good variety of food. Some things are pricey but the food is amazing and the sweet tea is homemade and also tastes amazing.

The ribeye is awesome. The T bone not so much it is served on a hot plate by the time it got to me it was over cooked and still cooking. You want a good steak order the ribeye. The takeout food is just as good as the dine in food.

The food is okay but there’s one server in particular that needs training. He never asks if we need anything or checks on us. Tonight I had to flag him down (we were one of 3 tables) and he literally would walk away as fast as possible when I tried asking for literally anything. When I would finally get his attention, he’d have his head cranked back, body forward, facing away from us like he couldn’t wait to get away. He did this all night long.
Before we even finished our food he walked past our table (didn’t even bother to stop and speak, just walked by and spoke), pointed to the register and said he’d be there to check me out when I was ready. We weren’t ready. At all.
I felt very rushed and unwelcome. My family was polite, we all said please and thank you, called him sir when addressing him, but he was so unfriendly. He wouldn’t even sit my daughter’s food in front of her, just plopped it on the table even when I said it was for her and pointed. My son ended up grabbing the plate and putting it in front of her.
Very unimpressed. We tend to be a very kind family, and I rarely write poor reviews but seriously Los Lunas, this waiter sucks.
We’ve eaten here many times and this is how he serves us any time we have the misfortune of having him. I don’t know his name but he’s younger and has a round face- if that helps you to figure out who he is. He needs trained, fired, or not work with customers.

Just ordered takeout from there and we looked at it (unappealing) tasted it, and threw it away. There was only about 3 tiny pieces of chicken on my fajita nachos. If it costs $13 it shouldn’t be mostly letting and chips but it was. Dry and gross. The chicken was quesadilla my daughter ordered had such little chicken that when I went to pick the peppers and onions off for her that we ordered it without, the chicken was gone. So I threw away $30. It also took them 20 minutes to hand it to me. Maybe it would’ve been better hot? I wouldn’t know because I stood at the front for 20 min while it got cold.

I love eating at Los Luna’s, but I don’t get there as often as I would like too. Everything is just fine there .

The service is terrible. No matter how many times I’ve come here, never have I gotten a server who wanted to be there. Imagine going to a restaurant and being treated like you’re the inconvenience. That’s this place. The experience: You wait at the front until you are seated, and you’ll make eye contact with multiple employees… but no one will come to seat you. You will feel awkward, and intentionally avoided. When you finally get someone to seat you, they’ll make you feel like you’re the problem for needing to be seated. Think audible sighs, dirty looks and eye rolls. Like angsty teenagers, but full grown adults in uniform. Now that you’re seated, you’ll wait. Not for chips and salsa, those are immediately slapped on your table by a busboy that wants zero to do with you. Then you wait. And wait. And wait. This gives you plenty of time to notice how everything in the restaurant has a layer of grime, and dust. You wonder how this place stays in business. Finally, someone brings silverware and asks for your drink order. God help you if you order from the bar, those drinks take half the meal to come out. Mixed drink? It’s premixed, it’s terrible and it’ll cost you at least $10. When you’re ready to order, be ready for your server to have disappeared into the back. They’ll emerge 5-10 minutes later, not with anyone’s order but with a look of annoyance, and eventually they’ll return to you and ask for your order. Thus ensues the next waiting game. Finally, after an eternity, your food arrives. It is glorious. Spectacular food. With so few options in town, you see why this place manages to thrive with such terrible service. The food is good, and it’s the only restaurant in town that you can sit down and have a meal with your family after 3pm. The people who run this place seem to know that only minimal effort is required on their part, and it shows. Also, the takeout is a scam here. Don’t believe me? Go into the restaurant and order a Molcajete. Ask for a to go box. There’s so much in it that you sometimes need TWO to go boxes. It’s heaping. Now, order the Molcajete from home, get it to go and pick it up yourself. It’ll be half the box full, every time. That thing costs $17.99, and they happily charge you that and give you half when it’s a to go order that THEY pack up for you. There’s also a 3.99% surcharge on your bill when you pay with a card, you only pay the menu price when you pay cash. There’s a sign on their cash register telling you so. And the attitudes!! Oh the sour attitude of every person I have seen working here. No one wants to be there, and you can feel that animosity hanging heavy in the air. Just so everybody knows what this place is like. Again, great food and absolutely terrible service.

Some of the best enchiladas and queso I’ve had anywhere! My family loves this place, and my dad likes it here even though it’s not usually a type of food he goes for. Great all around! Make sure to check it out!
