I went to this place to have breakfast with my girls do a little bonding. I thought let’s check this place out give them a little of our money. The food was mid employee at the cash register was so very disconnected almost to the point of being rude. I did enjoy the company I was with that was the only highlight. We order things that they forgot. Like if we order a croissant with 2 meats they forgot to add bacon even though we paid for it. I don’t see me going back to this location. You have to ask for everything. Salt, pepper, ketchup, jam ect. It just was not a good experience.

5-Star Review for La Bou

I had such a wonderful experience at La Bou! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the customer service was absolutely top-notch. The cashiers and staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making customers feel at home.

A special shoutout to Elizabeth and Grace — their kindness, professionalism, and positive energy made my visit stand out even more. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right!

And let’s talk about the seasonal coffee — the Pecan Maple Latte was incredible! Perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of cozy fall flavor. It’s definitely one of the best seasonal drinks I’ve had anywhere.

Thank you, La Bou, for such a pleasant and delicious experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! ☕ and Dog friendly here ‍ pup cups at request

I love all their locations. At this location they are super sweet. i’ve never had a bad experience with this location. I’ve asked for a sample of their Thai tea just to make sure that if it’s what I like and they’ve done that. The dill dip that they have is super super good. I have never had a steel baguette from them either. Highly recommend the Dill dip!!!!!
If they run out of baguettes, get the croissant to dip them

Came in at 3:05 PM and they instantly said JUST SO YOU KNOW WE CLOSE AT 3:30 SO EVERYTHING IS TO GO. I asked if they would really kick us out before 3:30 and they were still pretty rude so just left. Pretty bad business.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Selection seems to always be a little lacking. Quality of food, bakery items and coffee drinks is good. Usually a few customers, not overly business, but not empty. A great alternative to the big chain coffee, bakery restaurants.

The food here is amazing and the bread is some of the best bread. But the menu above the counter is the absolute worst. There’s about four pages of information that they’re trying to have on two tv screens and the screens change before you have time to read everything. So then by the time it gets back to the screen that you’re trying to read, you forget where you were. And then you’re just looking at it all.Like trying to take it all in. And it’s just too much. They really need to just either print it all out. And like, give you a menu, or do a QR code or get four tvs that don’t shuffle. There’s dishes I want to try but I can’t ever find them so I just end up ordering the same thing.

They have covered outdoor seating, maybe 4 or 5 tables, safely spaced and never over-crowded.
My favorites: ham and cheese croissant; turkey and cheese croissant; raspberry scone; apricot scone; blended iced chai latte.
If you want choices get there early as things sell out quick.

Definitely not as busy as when I moved away in 1989, and the pastries weren’t *quite* as good as I remember. But everyone has good days and bad days and maybe this was one of them. Service was attentive and friendly – that much has *not* changed.

The dill dressing is the best. The baguette are soft and fresh. Great combos of sandwich and soup.

I ordered a turkey sandwich and chicken Chinese salad. The sandwich barely had anything on it one slice of turkey, half a slice of avocado, and a couple slices of spinach. The bread was also not very tasty. The salad was not at all appealing, especially for the amount I paid. Unless you want to get shut down, the owner really needs to step up the spot.
