I recently had a very positive 4-star experience at AJ’s Trailside Pub. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and earned a solid 3-star rating, providing a comfortable environment for a meal. I was particularly impressed with the service, which I would rate at 4 stars; the staff was attentive and made the visit very smooth. As for the food, it was enjoyable and earned a 3-star rating as well. It’s a great spot to stop by, especially if you’re looking for quality service in a nice setting.

Stopped in at AJ’s Trailside Pub after a long day and it was just what I needed. Burger was juicy, fries came out hot, and the beer was good and cold. Plenty of TVs to watch the game and the place had a laid-back feel. The staff was friendly, kept checking on my table without bothering me. Good spot to relax, eat decent food, and unwind a bit, I’d gladly come back

We went here on a suggestion by a friend. Our server,Hayden,was absolutely amazing. The food was great – fast,prompt,hot,good. We like the atmosphere- felt comfortable and welcoming. Lots of TVs as well with many different sports on.
We read some of the other reviews…and our thoughts are – this is a PUB..with pub drinks and food,not 5 star menus.
I asked for a white sangria and the bar made it..and it was perfect..the pub food was a 5 out of 5. Oh and the prices? Amazing.
I wish I had asked about the dollar bills on the ceiling…
We will definitely return for a bite to eat and some drinks.

I grew up in Adams and I’ve seen this historic train station be several bars and restaurants. This is the absolute best it’s ever been! Homemade food is amazing and comes out steaming! We haven’t even left the restaurant and are already talking about coming back. So very happy Adams has AJ’s!

Meh. We came to town for the Christmas train and this seems to be the only place to eat. We got there and it was busy! But we were prepared to wait so we parked a street over and walked there. However when checking in, we were told there is no where to wait and told we should wait in our car and they would find us when our table was ready. Hmmmm not a great system when we have 2 little children and a cold rainy day. Other places tell you they can take your number and text you when your table is ready. Luckily a parking spot opened so we could move our car to the lot and wait in it.
So finally we were seated and the place is just kind of old and dirty. Ok fine. My kids had chicken and fries from the kids menu, I had the Reuben and fries and my husband had the clam basket. Prices were fair and our waitress was nice. The food was fine, not great but not gross.
I will return only if I have to, if we’re in the area and my kids are hangry.

Found the place on a whim. Our waitress was wonderful. We ordered two adult meals and two children’s meals. Everything was excellent. Steak tips were delicious, sauce was really good. Great little spot to go. Would definitely go again.

We were there today after riding the rail trail. The place was packed, that should have been our clue to leave, but we got a table for 2, waited about 15 minutes for our drink order then another 10 before our food order. It was one hour and a couple minutes before our food arrived. They turned people away left and right with empty tables. The wait staff was on the rude side, one had one pace only, slow. The food was good, but we won’t be back.

Burgers are champ. My father in law and I went hiking for the day and we were looking for a good and chunky burger. Took a gamble on this place, looks sketchy outside but you know that sketchy places make the best food. The interior was very homely and classical bar environment. I had a classic burger with cheese and no condiments were needed. I gobbled it faster than a turkey would their feed. I can confidently say you will enjoy it here if you’re a burger enthusiast. Great beer as well.

Great pub restaurant with plenty of beverages and an extensive menu with something for everyone. Grilled cheese or French dip to Chicken marsala or a burger. The bartenders and servers are happy to be there.
