It was my first time in Louisville and I had heard about Indi’s before hand and confirmed it with the staff at my hotel. I can say the food was good especially the greens they’re fire. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh.

Ordered the catfish dinner(with Mac&cheese and mixed greens) the fish was just fried skin and the other piece of fish was not done!! Greens tasted like can spinach!! Mac & cheese was horrible! Just noodles and butter!

I’ve never ate here before, but I will definitely eat here again! I got the beef rib tips and was thoroughly impressed. I also got corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes. Corn on the cob was great and the mashed potatoes weren’t instant! They also have chicken and a lot of side orders. They had so many sides I don’t remember what all they had oh, but it was a lot. They also sell slabs of ribs, there’s a wait on those because they cook them on order. Next time I go I’m going to get a slab of ribs. If you’re in a hurry get the rib tips. I highly recommend them.
The only downside to this establishment was the small dining room. It only has 3 tables, so I wouldn’t take a chance on planning a eat-in experience. But it seems most people are already aware of this, as most people get there orders to go. it seems that most people use the tables and chairs as a place to sit down to wait for their orders to go. To me this is a good thing, because I don’t like to stand and wait on my food. So at least you have a place to sit down and play on your phone until your order is ready. LOL
As an added note, they have some pretty good cheesecake there too. Chances are I’ll see you there cuz I’ll definitely go back several times

The slowest service I ever received after waiting for 40 minutes for a 3 piece dinner I kindly asked for my money back the lady who took my order got rude me so a another gentleman stepped in and gave me my money back. I love the chicken but it’s not worth slow service and attitude

Let me tell you what can I say about this restaurant I have a at all the restaurants here on Cane run and hands down Indy’s is the best restaurant I have eight not yet from the service that I got as I walked in the door to the home-cooked food and I mean home cooked food from the mashed potatoes and gravy to the chicken to the rib tips and the shrimp. The greens were to die for does an absolutely fantastic restaurant the manager Shay really knows how to do a great job with her staff and that restaurant there I would give it a five stars out of five I would recommend eat here anytime and the prices are very reasonable with big portions of food they definitely have a repeat customer here. Thank you Indies for a great experience.
