Called in a pick-up order to save time on way out of town. Was put on hold. OK, they’re busy. Fine. Five minutes go by as I drive across town to the restaurant. Still on hold. Arrive at Mr. Hero 8 minutes later, walk in, show woman my phone, still on hold, and she says, “Oh, you’re the one (who called.)” Yes, it’s me. She proceeds to tell me they were busy, to which I say, “Then why not tell me that instead of keeping me on hold the entire 8 min. it took me to drive here?” No good response. I turned and left. Didn’t have any more time to wait. I would have felt better, and understood, if she simply forgot I was on hold. But not the case. Sad service. I won’t be back, despite enjoying their food.

Was craving a cheesesteak and decided to give this place a try, they had buttery ones that were amazing! Also, their loaded tots were hot and tasty! For the price, you can’t beat it! The lady behind the counter was really nice as well . All in all, we will be back to try the other flavors because they were so tasty the first time!!

I don’t really eat fast food or fast casual, but if & when I do a couple times a year its at Mr. Hero. I’ve recently been plaqued as the last few visits to random locations across the cleveland market same problem multiples times, and it drives me crazy, so much so that I asked them to remake my order at an east side location a few months back and the attitude I received from behind the counter I ended up leaving my 30 dollar order behind. It’s simply an attention to detail that drives me crazy. I ask politely and more than once, please minus tomato, onion, and mayo, please… why is this so hard, needless the savings potential to the restaurant if you add up all the minus products.. tomatoes aren’t cheap right now, nor are onions.. why can’t we get an order correct? This sadly is not the first time.. I’m sorry, I can’t stand tomatoes. I truly wish i did unfortunately i can even tell if they were removed, and they just take over my tastes, so please when a customer dropping 20 dollars on a meal can’t even eat it because well.. breaking my heart Mr. Hero. I can’t finish this.

We drive from Michigan to go to this particular Mr. Hero. We have been to multiple and there is even one closer to michigan, in toldedo. However, this one is the best. Just wish they were open a little later. Sometimes I get that Romanburger craving after 8 pm!

Disappointed with the Experience
Visited this sub place expecting a decent veggie sandwich, but was really let down. The sandwich was poorly made and had barely any veggies — just felt stingy overall. On top of that, the service was slow and unwelcoming. Definitely not worth the price or the visit. Hope they improve both quality and customer experience.

I go here time to time to Mr hero in Sandusky had a few bad moments but once I called to let them know it was hair in my cheese they were very rude and denied saying it impossible I didn’t want anything I was just letting them know so it wouldn’t happen to anyone else but they insisted I was lying if I wasn’t at work I would of just took it back to show them but my brake is only so long just rude didn’t ask for no refund or anything was just trying to be courteous and the lady was very rude
