They had Harold in Fairview some years ago and al of a sudden, they closed down. I saw it on south beach and made it my first place to eat. The chicken wings were crunchy and full of flavor. The fries were seasoned and not too salty. I tried their shrimp for the first time and I was impressed. Full of flavor served with cocktail sauce. I will be going back before I head back home.

I’m in Miami with my friend and we happen to stumble into Harold’s restaurant but we didn’t realize they were closing at the time. They assured us that they wanted us to try the food so please come back tomorrow if we had the time. My girl and I made our way back the next day and let me tell you, they exceeded our expectations. We started with some mozzarella sticks. If you know me, you know that it’s allll about the cheese pull with the mozzi sticks. They perfected that. Then we had some of their wings and fries. They had a sauce for the wings that me and my girl were basically addicted to . I personally don’t eat fried chicken but I would DEFINITELY come back. Aside from the meal, the ambiance is nice as well. Harold’s is a black owned business ,always nice to support. They have all the good throwback movies on in there so you can really pull up, eat and hold a vibe. The folk running the establishment were more than accommodating as well. I must say I’m bad with names so forgive me but the Twins were super friendly. Along with another employee named Jah who really made sure we enjoyed our time there. If you’re in Miami looking for a place to chill and eat, definitely come check out Harold’s. (Also my pics don’t do it justice, I was too focused on eating-peep the cheese pull I was talking bout. ).

The service at Harold’s was quick, and it’s located in a perfect area, just down the street from other restaurants and the beach. The food was fresh, with the chicken and shrimp seasoned exceptionally well, none of it was greasy at all. The fries were crispy, and you can’t forget that the mild sauce made the food even better for dipping. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Absolutely the best chicken spot in Miami hands down!!! Harold’s flavor is unmatched and the taste is like nothing I’ve ever had the fish and shrimp is always fresh and everything is fried to order. The chicken is so juicy I’ve never had a chicken breast that was mouth watering delicious. This place is an original Chicago staple and I’m so happy they have decided to give Miami a taste of the best and call it home!!! It’s not only the best chicken but the atmosphere and energy there is amazing. I promise they NEVER disappoint. Try it once you’ll be back very soon. Also Don’t forget to get the Harold’s iconic sauce it’s everything!!!

I’m a chef in New Orleans and went to Harold’s because I was in the area. The establishment has a cool vibe and back story. The chicken has an impressive seasoned taste. BUT !!! the catfish does not have a familiar smell, physical appearance, or texture. I spoke with the proprietor and they stood behind their product even though it was NOT CATFISH!!! I can’t give a taste review because sight, smell, and aroma would not let me go any further with the meal

As a girl with family from Chicago, I have to say this was some really good chicken! Extra crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the lemon pepper was on point. The atmosphere was great too I loved how they highlighted different sports players from Chicago. Overall, an awesome restaurant with a fun vibe and great drinks. Highly recommend!

We wanted to try a lot of unique food places while in Miami, and Harold’s did not disappoint. We were very very pleased with our experience. The owners were there when I came and they provide top notch service. I feel that most restaurants I go to, you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by asking questions. But these restaurateurs really do an amazing job. They were helpful, and extremely friendly and went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend stopping in.

If you want good vibes and good R and b music. The food is great. We had the fish shrimp and chicken. It was fabulous hot and delicious! When returning to Miami I will definitely revisit. The owner’s were great it was so welcoming I felt like I was at home,, oh yes the hooka was outstanding. When in Miami you got to visit!!
