We love this place for burgers & fries or fish & chips! Homemade tartar sauce for the fish & chips. Some of the best fish & chips I’ve eaten. Comes with 3 deep fried cod fillets and your choice of fries or tator tots. Lots of yummy burgers to choose from. Those also come with fries or tots. There is a “special of the day” so ask about that. Soda fountain for refills. Homemade fry sauce is delicious!!! There is a counter area you can sit at or dining tables and chairs that seat 4 people also. Shakes are pretty good but overpriced in my opinion. This place is a small “hole in the wall” kind of place. One of a kind “ma and pa” kind of restaurant. Worth the stop! Yummy food options! Malt vinegar on each table as well.

The young woman taking our order was friendly, helpful, and informative. We decided on the Single Bypass Burger and the Hickory Burger—both came with fresh-cut fries and a drink.
Our food came out quickly, and the portions were generous. The burgers were huge and packed with flavor, and the fries were perfectly done. Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back!

Really great food. Surprisingly great, and the prices and portions were great too. Quiet place, but everyone’s nice. Food took a long time but hey, you can do the job fast, cheap or well and you only get to pick 2.

Amazing little diner tucked away in sugar city. I’ve been here many times growing up, and I’ve never had a bad experience! They’re the only place I really get tater tots, they just make them so crispy and good! Their burgers are always delicious, and their staff have always been very friendly and helpful!

No frozen patties I could see. They threw balled up ground beef on the grill and pressed them down right there. Seems everything is made to order.
Portions are generous as the $7 fried mushroom basket took the wife 3 different attempts (eating there and 2 runs of leftovers) to finish them.
I only had a normal cheeseburger as I have some food intake limits or I’d have tried a stacked burger like thier double or triple bypass burgers.
Small town burger vibe worth a small detour. Ill be back again sometime.

Kind of a hole in the wall place if you aren’t from around here. You definitely get your money’s worth of food here, especially compared to other more poly chains like 5 guys. You get plenty of fries or tots even though they could have been crispier. My family who got sandwiches and burgers were very satisfied with the size and taste. We also got the stuff mushrooms which was a lot for the price as well. If you want a nice diner experience and are in the area I recommend this place.

The food was well prepared and very tasty. That bacon cheeseburger, my word! Fresh cut fries were perfectly done, the tater tots were hot and crispy, the fish sandwich was on point. The real star of the meal were the buns. Oh man, so good!
