Stumbled upon this place after getting off an exit and boy was it a good surprise!
Overall great options for coffee, lunch and deserts!
I got a hazelnut cold brew and it was delicious!
I also tired a cute desert that looked like mushrooms, it was very good! Cheesecake inside with chocolate and raspberry!
The inside of the building is pretty large, loud music playing which I liked, and very cute inside!

I have been to the other location in West Hartford a couple times and it’s been excellent. Today I was traveling out of state and wanted to grab some food first and this location was on my route. I ordered the avocado toast and a few slices of pizza. I added egg which could have come in any style but they said the default is sunny side up. I love a runny yolk so I said it was fine as is. However, when I got my food, the egg was basically raw. The white was still viscous and the egg yolk had slid off the toast. When I showed the employee, they seemed unconcerned and asked if I wanted it medium or hard (as if this was the acceptable level for sunny side up). I eat eggs almost every day and this is not the correct way to prepare them. An apology would have been nice. I had it remade with scrambled eggs. It ended up taking so much longer than I had expected which was annoying since I had wanted to be on the road earlier. The flavors of the toast were good and the pizza was great. It’s just hard to overlook a raw egg.

My wife and I stopped in for a breakfast date and everything about the experience was top-notch. The atmosphere has such a good vibe, relaxed, welcoming, and just the right mix of modern and cozy. You can tell the place has been thoughtfully put together.
The food? Amazing!!! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We both ordered breakfast dishes and were blown away by the quality. You can really taste the care that goes into each plate.
The wait time for our meals was totally reasonable, just enough to know it was made fresh, but never left us checking the clock.
All in all, Doro is a place we’ll definitely return to. Whether you’re grabbing a casual bite or planning a quiet breakfast date like we did, I highly recommend it.

The pastries are delicious!! We ordered iced coffee, all their options can be cold or hot. There was a short line at the time that we arrived (after 10am) and our order was served quickly.

An old menu posted through Google had shown a tofu scramble option. Was not on the current menu which is fair. Ordered a egg bowl with substituted tofu. Asked if there was any butter on it, was told no. Toast came pre buttered. Absolutely no seasoning used on the tofu. Overall not really an enjoyable option for non meat non dairy folks. Great peach mango tea.

Doro Restaurant Group about to open a restaurant in Newington shortly so we thought we would check them out. As soon as you walk in you know you are in a very different type restaurant. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Just be prepared to have a wait. Went on a weekday at 11:30 and it was filling quickly. A young clientele here. Food was very good and we even took half our orders home. I had the pastrami sandwich.
Today we went for breakfast. I had the New Britain egg sandwich which was at least 5 stars. Best egg sandwich ever! My partner had a Croissant which was good, but would have been better if heated.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I can say the food is amazing! For lunch the chicken parm croissant is my favorite. For breakfast it’s always between a bk bowl or the weha center which they sadly no longer sell. But overall it’s a great atmosphere. Cookies are really good also.

We arrived at this location 20 minutes before closing and opted to take our desserts to go. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Most desserts cost $8. They were quite delicious, not overly sweet, and enjoyable, even for those who don’t have a sweet tooth.
