It’s a bummer that Wienerschnitzel closed its Irvine location, but I wanted to introduce my daughter to this fast food chain so we made the drive out to Lake Forest. I remember seeing a promo about their unbelievable $6 chili cheese deal which included two chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries…now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! I didn’t see any signage about it when we arrived at the restaurant and it wasn’t on the menu, but I was able to order the deal. I also picked up two corn dogs for my daughter. Service was friendly and they even brought our order out to us when it was ready.
My only gripe was that the air conditioning was busted and coincidentally it was a hot day outside. They had some electric fans running indoors, but a meal just isn’t as enjoyable when you’re sweating while eating. I also downloaded their app and besides the ordering function, I didn’t see any reason to use or keep the app because Wienerschnitzel doesn’t appear to offer points or rewards accumulation, membership deals, etc. Having said that, I’ll be back next time when I’m hungry for a hot dog!

I got to try Wienerschnitzel for the first time after signing up for their email list. They sent me a coupon to try one of their Chili dogs for FREE and I took their offer!
The front lobby was very clean and the woman at the front desk was very kind. I wish I had gotten her name.
The Chili dog itself was good. The flavor of the chili could have used a little more seasoning for my tastebuds. Yet, I’d give it a 4/5.
I would definitely try them again to see what other flavors Wienerschnitzel has to offer.

Went through the drive-thru. Could have been a tad faster but all in all good service and polite employees. Food was still hot when I got home and tasted fresh. Used the on line coupons and fed two people plenty for under 20 bucks. Been I inside to eat before and it was clean and well-organized

There is always parking. Restaurant looks clean inside. The cashier lady has always been very kind and funny with us. So is the manager when he is available.
When we come here, it is usually around 6:30 pm. So the restaurant is not busy at all. Our order is ready within a few minutes.
My wife loves the jalapeño poppers from here, I usually just go for the mini corn dogs.

It has been a while since we last visited any wienerschnitzel, and as it ends up the pricing is tremendously high these days for what you receive. The food was quite greasy, and we soaked up a significant portion of it into napkins before consuming. Flavor was good, however!

Been coming here since I was a youngin. Haven’t been in a few years but I was craving it so I came back recently lol. It’s still yummy and delicious as ever . However, the prices are ridiculous. Way overpriced for a freaking tiny chili cheese dog if you don’t have a coupon. Must go with coupon or else not worth it in my opinion!
