Came here Saturday night, the place was packed. Some live music that had customers interacting. It was a little loud but that’s what it is. Maryanne was our server and she was very good, borderline excellent so nice I wanted her to sit and eat with us. I felt like I was there before and it was good but everything looked different. Maryanne said that the place was taken over in 2024 so yes I was there under a different name, owner, menu, everything. I appreciate a good soup, something simple but so am I. I had the pasta fagiole and requested to get as little pasta as possible everything else was fine, I’m not a pasta person. She ladled out as much pasta as she could while still getting me celery, tomatoes, carrots & onions with enough broth to enjoy it. The table bread was warm, soft and not heavy. The fried calamari was excellent nice to see people who actually bread this these days, not use old burned oil, perfectly cooked with a nice taste to the marinara sauce. The star of the show was the Cheesy garlic bread. Not sure what made this so good but honestly garlic bread with melted cheese should not be so good but it was. Who needs mozzarella sticks, this is 100X better for you and probably healthier. The penne & sausage was very good. I only tasted it as a friend shared it with me being I don’t eat pasta. The sauce on that was great as well. For the final meal I had the Eggplant Rollatini with angel hair pasta. That was also shared. If anything it could have used a little more sauce but to be fair I could have also asked. Dessert was carrot cake, not sure if they make that in house or get it from somewhere else but it was also very good. The prices are very reasonable for what you get & entertainment. They had a good mix of shows on TV so I could watch the College Football game & the World Series while eating, talking, & being entertained. Maryanne is very friendly, she constantly takes away used dishes, fills your drinks up & engaging in conversation never feeling rushed. It’s definitely a kids friendly place, nothing fancy, casual dress, good food plus a little gem. Since it’s right outside of Holiday City I’m sure they have plenty of mixed types of customers who they cater to. I’m happy that it was recommended, happy I went and I would happy to recommend it to anyone. I kept thinking how good the pizza must be but I forgot to order a small one to go or grab a slice but I will be back. Small place under 75 people but it was packed for good reason. You definitely get nice size portions of quality food for the price with no sacrifice except fancy, obnoxious dishes & decor. It’s just right. Keep up the good work & thank you Maryanne. There are unlimited waitresses and waiters who can learn a lot from you.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. Normally you think of a strip mall italian restaurant as run of the mill, but this is anything but. Everything from the lasagna to the chicken parm and ravioli was superb. I was blown away by the flavors and quantity of the food. It was crowded but the service was excellent. Staff so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. 10 stars.

I went there for a slice and didn’t expect much at some strip mall pizzeria in Tom’s River and I was very surprised how good the slices were. I had a square Brooklyn slice and a regular slice with pepperoni and they were both great. The restaurant actually has a little bar with a great bartender, a seasoned and friendly older gentleman who provided great service and conversation.
Thanks for a great lunch.

Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes but first I have to give the chef props for making delicious food. The pizza and the calamari was so fresh and delicious. We also tried the chicken franchise and boy it was so good that I forgot to take a photo of it. Nicole was our friendly server. I’m going back for my birthday next week and can’t wait to try other dishes and hopefully ear some good karaoke.

I heard of Rosato’s from my friend who frequents this place. I totally get why she loves this place now. Food were good and service was great. Totally love the Scarpariello wings. The Veal Parmigiana is on point too.

I had shrimp Parmesan delivered to my house. It was over $20. There was five boiled shrimp in it. It was tasteless. It doesn’t even come with a salad. The whole thing was terrible taste. They dropped it off at my door. Never rang the doorbell and I didn’t see it till two hours later, but beside that I would never order from there again and that karaoke who wants to sit there and eat and hear that horrible music from most of the people

At Rosato’s Pub & Pizzeria,
the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The wait staff is always friendly. A nice charming atmosphere, too. They have a great bar if you prefer alcoholic beverages or wine with your meals. We mostly order take out and have it delivered. We’re close by, so everything gets delivered in minutes and it’s always very hot.

Fun neighborhood joint serving Italian food, pizza and a variety of subs. Some nights there is live music and some nights there’s karaoke. A place you could walk into and feel at home!

Great local restaurant and bar. The food is excellent while reasonably priced. Same goes for the drinks. Entertainment several times a month is always great.
