Quiet, comfortable, welcoming vibes chock full of pre-loved books. Big sci-fi section. Fiction, romance, non-fiction. Good place for elementary kids on up with games and books. Nice folks. I stopped by every day of my visit for a coffee and a read.

If you are looking for a great hot beverage, a book and an interesting history lesson, come the the oldest brick building in town and get all of those from a gentleman who will help you. I was impressed and did not expect what I found.

Quaint bookstore/coffee shop. Opted for coffee while on the road because we prefer independent operations. Coffee was ground and brewed individually.
For me the wait would probably have been the same at a Starbucks, but then I usually get brewed coffee anyway, so it was nice to have it brewed to order. At Starbucks I still have to wait, when all they need is a few pumps on the coffee pot.
I believe the gentleman gets his coffee from an operation in Ingleside if my memory serves me correctly.
