This says, by far the absolute best. Most authentic Chinese restaurant in south broward. Their egg rolls are unbeatable. They also have the best spare ribs. I’ve ever had in florida

Excellent food has been coming since 1987 since I moved to Cooper City and Mr Lee is not working anymore but it’s still good and I love it. we haven’t been in a long time since they had a problem once but everything‘s been resolved and we were very happy. We just went there today for lunch. The service was great. The food was delicious. Plenty of portions. My husband took his other half of his portion at home. I truly recommended and I highly recommend it.

My friend Emily took me to her favorite Chinese spot in Cooper city! Definitely now my #1 Chinese place! The service was welcoming and the staff was amazing! Everything was made fresh and so delicious, especially the pepper steak with fried rice or the lo mein noodles they were both so amazing! Definitely coming here more often!

Our grandparents used to take us to this place in a strip mall in Cooper City for years. They have passed but we continue the tradition. We went last night and the line was out the door and people mentioned they have been waiting two hours for a seat or take out. Trust me they would not wait if it was not worth it.
After waiting 85 minutes we were squeezed in a middle table. Full of loud guests laughing and enjoying the food. The staff worked hard to take orders and keep plenty of noodles and food coming. From the Wanton soup to the pistachio ice cream it brought back memories of eating with my grandparents. Worth every penny and lots of left overs to enjoy!

This is my favorite Chinese food place in south Florida. My husband doesn’t like it, so we keep trying different places, and for me nothing compares to the food at South China. They are the only place that does not put scallions in their soup! I love The green leafy stuff in the soup, not sure if it’s bok choi or what, but it reminds me of the soup I used to get At Chinese restaurants in NY. Their crab Rangoon’s, egg rolls and pork egg foo young are better than any other place I try. Every time I order take out, the food is consistent. I recently ate in the restaurant with my dad, and yes it’s not fancy, it’s outdated, maybe a little musty, but the service was good, it was clean, the price was reasonable, the portions were large and the food tasted just how I like It.

I had to change my review on this place.
South China was once the best places to get Chinese food. I don’t know if they switched owners or what but, it’s not the same. They changed all of the servers too. The new ones are rude. The food is not fresh anymore. The pictures that I have up are from years ago. This is NOT the same place I went to every weekend. I will not be back.

South China seems like a lovely little family-run business. The staff are so nice and welcoming, and the food is really good! It’s the kind of place that feels warm and inviting, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for tasty food and friendly service.

Lives up to the good reviews. I had the barbecued rib and pork fried rice dinner portion. My daughter had the sweet and sour pork. It seems like a family establishment from the son to the grandmother involved. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The pork fried rice was perfect, with a hint of smokiness and flavorful. I have had Chinese in Chinatown and this was better. The rib did not taste stale like it had been sitting but instead was moist and the right amount of burnt sugar on it.
My daughter’s S&S was nicely fried puffy and crisp. However the sauce was poured on top. We like it separate so that we could eat at our pace without it getting soggy.
I wager their other food will be great too. If you want authentic Chinese food taste, this is the place.

Friendly & attentive staff. Wide noodles, tasty soup, good combo meals plus early bird before 6pm. Reasonable prices. They do have hot & sour soup. Have been there several times and have always had a good experience. We had cashew chicken, honey garlic chicken, garlic eggplant(not pictured).
