Great service from our waiter, Alex. Manager was always around and tentative. Food was excellent, I was asked if I could cut open my ribeye to see if it was properly cooked the way I wanted, and yes it was spot on medium. Will definitely come back in the future. Alex expresses fantastic waiter skills.

We went there for my birthday, didn’t expect much from a chain, but was very pleasantly surprised. The service was top notch, and the food was even better. I ordered the 14 ounce ribeye medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fat on it could have fit on a silver dollar. I eat steaks often and this is in my top 5 of all time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if u want a fairly inexpensive place to eat with great service and great food.

We waited for 20 min to be seated and noticed as we walked to the table a half empty restaurant. The menu selection was ridiculous. If want sirloin, you get to stay no bigger than 9 Oz at a semi reasonable price. Service was poor. Chicken club sandwich was over priced and not very good. One small chicken breast was used and could only fill adequately a half sandwich. But this filled a full sandwich for 12 dollars. Will not return until selection gets better.

We haven’t been to this Lone Star Steakhouse in about a year. The service had been consistently bad. So we tried Outback Steakhouse in Golden instead and it was decent for a year, then THEIR service started getting bad.
So tonight we decided to try Lone Star Steakhouse again. BIG mistake. The server acted like he simply didn’t give a hoot. The lights were out over the tables and when we asked the manager if they could turn them on, he said they were having problems with them, with an attitude like HE didn’t give a hoot.
The prices had gone up and the food servings and quality appeared to have gone down. Jennifer said that her half rack of ribs was more bones than meat, for $19!
At the end, I said to the waiter that we hadn’t been there in about a year, and instead of replying, he just walked away. Apathetic. Everyone there came across as apathetic, with plastic smiles.
All in all, we got the impression that the place is circling the drain.
On a five star review scale, I’d now give them a lone star. We won’t try them again.

I never complain. Ever. This however was THE WORST experience I have ever had. My girlfriend and I waited for over an hour for food that never showed up. Seriously we had to ask to get our bread and water after 15 minutes! Then 15 minutes after we get bread and water we finally get the worst margaritas you will ever have. After an hour and 10 minutes I told our server we really have to go we can’t wait any longer for our food.so he disappears and I had to ask another server to get the manager. They tried to bring us out nasty looking food that looked like it’s been sitting there forever. Do not waste your time like we did ours!

We had a 20% off Google offer for Lone Star so I thought it would be a good time for our first visit. It will be our last. I ordered the cajun ribeye, garlic potatoes, and salad. The steak was cooked as I ordered and was tender but it was tasteless. This is a $22 dish and I have had steaks for less than $10 elsewhere that are tons better than this. My wife had a salad with some steak on top. She said it had no taste either.
What really did it for me was the Google offer. I showed the waitress the coupon and she acknowledged it. When we got the check, no coupon was taken off. I showed it to her again and she went back to make the changes. She came back and assuming it was correct, my wife paid (our mistake). After the charge was complete I noticed she gave us $5 off the check, NOT the 20% off that it should have been. I will under no circumstances ever eat at Lone Star Steakhouse again. Period. There are too many other restaurants that can get it right and have tasty steaks without spending a arm and a leg.

Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years. I ordered a bloody mary and being allergic to shellfish, asked if it was made with Clamato. The waitress didn’t know what Clamato was and made me out to be insane for asking such a ridiculous question. Then, they brought out the ugliest looking ribeye I had ever seen. Others at my table ordered the same, but mine looked completely different. I was assured that mine was the same as theirs, so I ate it anyway… It was tough and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were served to me cold, so already feeling flustered about the steak, told the waitress that my potatoes were cold. She said she would gladly get me more… when she came back, she served me microwaved mashed potatoes that were all flaky and dried up and felt like they were 500 degrees! How hard is it to cook some more mashed potatoes? I didn’t think it was possible to screw up a steak and mashed potatoes for $25 at a steak house, but they did. I will never go back to any Lone Star again.

Iv been to Lone star a hand full of times. And for some odd reason, it was always on a holiday! I went here for valentines day with my friend John and we were seated extremely quick! A lot faster than I had expected because they were jam packed full of people. We had excellent service and I have to give a lot of the credit to a server that was working that night around 8:30. His name was Trey and he was very patient with my friend and I as I was already drinking prior to going into the steakhouse! LOL Thank you so much Lone star for stepping up your game on the holidays! And thank you Trey for serving my friend and I will a good personality and a HUGE smile. haha! Oh and props to lone star for hiring cute waiters that know what theyre doing! :)) definitely worth my while and I will be going back soon!

This restaurant is absolutely horrendous. i wouldnt eat here again if my life depended on it. the management is awful and the servers are even worse. my waitress thought it would be appropriate to sit down at our table and make conversation with us for a while. really? take my order and go do something else im not here to make friends. and on top of that while my family and i were eating our meal, management comes around trying to do the same! you cant eat a meal at that restaurant without having to chit chat with employees dilly dallying around trying to improve their social life! the food is suitable for a lower (extremely low) end restaurant but definetly nothing to brag about. in other words to sum it up dont come to this lone star steakhouse unless you are prepared to let the rude hosts, incompetent servers, and annoying managers outweigh your dining experience.

5-29-2013 – DO NOT go to this store for take out! Lots of places in the area, do your self a favor – go down Union Blvd and find another place….Horrible service from a blonde haired stuck up bartender, no customer service skills at all, treated me like I owed her money from an old debt, she was like this the entire time…The food took an hour to be delivered (on a slow night, only 7 tables in the resteraunt. A guy came in after me, I watched him get served and finish his meal just before mine finally came out….it was cold, and nasty, hard to say how long she let it cool off before she decided to bring it out. I tried to serve it to my family at home but it was terrible, we had to throw it away.
NEVER AGAIN, this pit is off of my list….no wonder it wasn’t very busy. This used to be a decent place, I wonder what went wrong???
