While visiting Fort Lauderdale from out of town, this Panera quickly became our go-to spot, we came here every single day during our stay. We usually ordered the egg sandwich feast, and the food was consistently fresh and delicious.
What truly made this location stand out was Jennifer, the Assistant GM. She is absolutely amazing, attentive, quick, and incredibly accurate. She paid close attention to every detail of our order and even started remembering parts of it as we came in each day, which really made us feel welcomed. She’s personable, professional, and clearly takes pride in her work.
The restaurant itself is very clean, including the bathrooms, service is fast, and the sandwiches are always great. This Panera set the bar high for customer service. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

I ordered a grilled cypress garden salad and black bean soup. I could not eat either because the soup was extra salty and the caprese sandwich was smothered in mayonnaise. I am highly disappointed.

Worst location ever. Do not waste your time, money or anything on this location. I have given them chance after chance and last night was my final straw with this location.

I ordered delivery. French onion soup and salad. Paid $18 for the tiniest portions. French onion soup did not come with cheese nor croutons just a few onions and broth that’s it. The tiniest thing of dressing for my salad. Both my Mom and I had sides and they were not there either. No utensils no napkins. Yet we’re quick to charge the delivery fee, the that fee etc. I called to speak to a manager was on hold for 25 mins. I hung up called again and was told the manager was extremely busy (this was at 7:30pm) there is absolutely no way the manager was busy. I e been to this location during lunch etc and it’s NEVER been busy at all. I asked for a name and the person just put the phone down on the counter didn’t say a thing. I was on hold for over an HOUR !!!

WORST FOOD

Cold coffee at 9:00a.m. No hot water. When asked to heat our coffees in a microwave, we were told “no”. We waited, along with others, for fresh coffee.
The employees, behind the counter, do not look like they are happy nor care. That translates into poor customer satisfaction.

By far the strangest and worst experience I’ve ever had at a Panera anywhere in the country.

My family and I walk in and the place is so dimly lit that we thought they might be closed. The bread and pastry area looks about 20% full. Only one employee can be seen, and he’s far away from the registers. He walked by once, twice, and then a third time before even making eye contact and acknowledging us. Have you ever been to a Panera anywhere where you weren’t greeted the second you walk in the door?

He keeps saying that someone will be with us soon but so far there’s no evidence that any other employees exist. Finally a shift supervisor appears and he takes our order. When we asked for baguettes as our sides, he said they are COMPLETELY OUT of bread after a volleyball tournament came in and took it all. Huh?? That’s another first. Panera Bread with no bread.

First forward to our order – my wife wanted dressing on the side (it was on the ticket) and they slopped it all over the top of it. Had to go back to the counter multiple times because they forgot spoons, forks, and most of our sides. A few other employees emerged from the back while we ate, which left us wondering where any of them were when we arrived. The place is also really hot inside, like the A/C is broken. Overall, a good contender for worst Panera in the country. Their GM and ownership should be embarrassed.

Rihanna was so helpful and kind. She welcomed us with a warm greeting and explains the menu to someone who’s never been to a Panera bread before. What an amazing experience with friendly staff great food and good vibes. Yours truly, ben

So I have been a member of the sip club since it came out years ago… I have visited multiple Panera’s all over the United States and even visited one another country though they were not related.

My point in this is that I have never been treated the way I was treated at the Panera store today.

I take my own cup when I go to drink at Panera because I do not believe in creating that much waste and since we use Panera pretty much on the daily that would be a lot of waste.

I have always gone in after I placed my order get my cup coffee get my bagel from the counter and have a seat and have never had an issue. I have had managers and issue inquire nicely as to whether or not I had already paid for my beverage in a professional way… This manager however chose violence.

I’m not sure if she felt empowered because there happened to be a police officer inside of Panera at the time that I was getting it but she decided to show off… And be a bully.

She came roaring from behind the counter screaming at me “if you’d like to order something you can pay at the counter”

Instead of simply asking did you pay for that or can I help you with something or something of that nature she decided to scream at me in front of the entire restaurant. And then when I turned around and said yes I already pre-ordered in the app and I’ll be walking up there to get my food in a minute… She doubled down.

Then she turned to the police officer and had the goal to say to him please standby because I think we’re going to need you?!? Are you kidding me. I just certainly hope that the owner of that restaurant, because they are franchisees, Sees this and takes action. This occurred around 7 AM this morning at the restaurant and before she can delete the video file with no doubt exists you need to take a peek. If that’s what you call customer service then your establishment should not be open and your store should be shut down by corporate.

Visited Panera 12/20 I received a very dirty spoon asked for another Basil gladly provided but that one had dry left over food particles as well. After that I was over it and didn’t ask for another one. This the 2 week in a row I’ve gone there and no bread of my choice during lunch time early in the day. The Jennifer did say asiago bread is the most popular so if this known more should be made to accommodate customers. Last week I left and went to another restaurant unfortunately. This time I was told by Jennifer that Panera bread was out again but I found Asiago bagel in the front where the pastries are unbeknownst to the cashier. Jennifer was at the counter seeming confused and was so very slow she finally asked Basil for help. No one ever greeted new customers that walked up. Neither employee had no enthusiasm or smile in their tones. Most definitely different experience from other locations. These employees need training for sure.

I placed a lunch order here the other day (11/11, around 12:30pm) and when I came to pick it up, there was a lack of meat on my sandwich. I flagged down the manager, Lera (pronounced Lair-Ah), and asked to purchase another helping of meat, she refused to charge me and got it done in seconds. Lera was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to not only help me but every other customer in the store. She knew the regulars’ names, was incredibly respectful and warm, and ran the back-of-the-house operations like a drill sergeant. I work in hospitality on the corporate/management side and I struggle to find GMs even half as strong as she is. 11/10 manager!!

The guy who served us was fantastic – super friendly and helpful concerning my questions about food allergies. Got out the allergen menu and helped me with my order. The food was good, nice sandwich and pizza bread. $30+ for that and a drink, which seems a little pricey.
