First time coming here, I was visiting staying at a hotel. Got the OG ramen, had plenty of shredded beef, cheese, and noodles in soup. With avocado about 20 dollars. Good amount for 1. Came in a container that’s about 5×4 inches could be smaller. There was an extra container with flavor fixings. Everything was really delicious. I’d like to try their other items. The only issue I had was there was no fork or spoons in the bag by the time I got to the hotel so I had to figure that out.

Absolutely terrible experience. I spent over $140 at Papi’s Tacos, and not only was my order wrong, but they also completely missed two orders of rice and gave me an incorrect consomé. When I called to get it fixed, they told me they couldn’t refund me—even if I came back—because the amount “wasn’t enough money.”
How is that even acceptable?
For the prices they charge, the quality and customer service should be far better. Instead, they were dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes.
Don’t waste your time or money at this location. If they mess up your order, they’ll make zero effort to make it right

I had a burrito and 2 tacos. Taste is pretty good. Store is clean.
All meat they use is Halal.
It’s written on their website as “OUR FLAVORS AND INGREDIENTS ARE IMPORTED FROM FARMS IN MEXICO. WE USE THE HIGHEST QUALITY CERTIFIED HALAL MEATS ”.

My son has been obsessed with searching for the best birria tacos served with consume. We found it. OG birria tacos and burritos here is a must. Best consume we’ve had. Highly recommended this place.

This was my first time at Papi Tacos & Churros. I’d rate the tacos a solid 8 out of 10. I spent about $20 for four tacos and an agua fresca. The price was okay, maybe a little on the high side, cuz the tacos are small, but the food was good.
The service could be better. The girl who took my order didn’t smile, didn’t greet me, and didn’t really engage even after I mentioned it was my first time there. She didn’t make any suggestions or seem very welcoming. That said, I’d still stop by again if I’m in the area.

Went here with the family for a last minute quick dinner and it was amazing. The menu is simple, just a few things, but all of it is jam packed with flavor.
The beef birria is probably the best I’ve tried. The asada tacos were good as well but you definitely go here to have birria tacos or burritos and churros.
We ordered the OG plate which comes with “one of each” and everything was just delicious. It all can get a little messy and that is the reason for the lack of 5 stars. The tables were all a bit dirty and when we asked about it they said that’s just how it is and we ended up having to wipe down the table ourselves.
We also had a burrito which was on point for flavor but so juicy that it’s extremely messy and hard to eat. The other thing we tried was the birria ramen which I didn’t get to try but by all accounts was on par with everything else. The consome they give you to dip your tacos in is next level and I ended up drinking the leftover like a cup of soup.
Aside from having to clean the tables by ourselves, I highly recommend this spot, I’ll go back soon and I will add it to my go-to spots for tacos and birria.

Decided to switch things up from our usual Pakistani/Indian spots and try something new. Came here on a friend’s recommendation. It’s a clean, welcoming little joint tucked inside a gas station — don’t let that fool you! We ordered the carne asada, birria beef taco, and quesadillas. Everything was packed with flavor, and the prices were super reasonable. Service was fast and friendly too. We also tried their tacos which they were making fresh , tasted oh so good. Definitely glad we gave it a shot!

I could eat here every day if I could. Papi Tacos & Churros has the best quesabirria tacos I have ever tasted in California. The consomé is fantastic, and the churros are just as impressive. Every bite of the tacos is filled with rich flavor, and the quality is always amazing whether I dine in, order through DoorDash, or pick up takeout. Takeout is always quick, easy, and packed with care, maintaining the same high quality as dining in. The restaurant is always very clean and well-kept, which makes the experience even better. The staff is kind and welcoming, always offering great recommendations. I will definitely continue coming weekly for these delicious tacos made with care and passion.

The restaurant is very unassuming since it’s in the same parking lot as a gas station, but the food is SO so good. Not a lot of options on the menu, but it doesn’t matter because it’s top notch. The OG burritos are huge and packed with meat, and the consomé they come with is so warming and comforting (extremely hot, nearly burned my mouth), the red salsa has a lot of kick but also really good flavor (not just spice), the quesadilla had a generous amount of cheese without dripping with grease, and the churros were fresh and crisp. We got the churros with chocolate ice cream and the ice cream alone was so good – an excellent pairing, especially after the very hot burritos and consomé in the very warm restaurant. A perfect rainy day meal that definitely requires a siesta afterwards.
