I have never in my life had such a horrible experience at a Jersey Mike’s, and I’ve been to plenty of them. This place is an absolute disgrace to the brand. From the second I walked in, the employees made it clear they didn’t care. There were literally only two people in the store (including me), and instead of a simple “hello” or acknowledgment, I got blank stares. When it was finally time to order, there was no customer service whatsoever… just a flat, uninterested “What can I get for you?”
That alone was disappointing, but then I watched how they handled the food and was absolutely disgusted. The employees NEVER changed their gloves. Instead of swapping them out like any respectable food service worker would, one of them literally rinsed his gloves off with water and kept using the same dirty pair. He touched the register, counters, and other surfaces, then went right back to handling food with those same “washed” gloves. Absolutely nasty and completely unacceptable. If that’s what they do in front of customers, I don’t even want to imagine what goes on when no one’s looking.
To make matters worse, the guy making my sandwich wasn’t even paying attention. I had to repeat myself multiple times for the same simple requests because he clearly wasn’t listening. If you’re in food service, the bare minimum is to actually focus on the customer standing right in front of you.
The overall vibe here is lazy, careless, and unprofessional. This location gets business only because it’s on a busy main street, not because the employees provide good food or service. Honestly, Jersey Mike’s corporate should be embarrassed to have their name attached to this place. With the amount of traffic and customers that come through this area, they need to seriously rethink their staffing, their training, and their standards.
If you care about decent service, sanitary food handling, or basic respect as a paying customer, avoid this location at all costs.

I never posted reviews but I had an Outstanding experience here at the Americana Jersey Mikes. My wife and kids came last week three days in a row around the same time after work 8:55 pm right before closing and was served with care And yesterday as well around the same time. The manager was there everytime we visited which was great considering he provided us with good sandwiches and was very friendly and personable. I didn’t catch his name however I’m sure he’ll be there again when I pass by! My youngest 7 year old was crying and he asked if he can give her a cookie for free! She stopped crying and I was able to enjoy my meal. If someone can get me his name so I can thank him personally that’d be great! Thanks Jersey mikes.

Food was alright. But the manager made up for that. He was very nice and genuinely cared about what I had to say about the excess oil and vinegar. I thought they were just putting hella juices but Ricky the manager told me that’s how it is from Michael’s way. He was friendly and even re made the sandwich for me at no cost. I’ve came back 3 times since then and I’ve seen him working everytime. Ricky if you see this thank you!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being helped by Julian and Ricky. They did run out of bread but there was still white and rose Mary. It was extremely busy but these fellas kept their composure and I had the opportunity to talk with the manager Ricky outside on his break he advised me on how it is like working here and really gave me insight and now I feel more welcome here now knowing that the workers are happy despite the rushes. Will come again good was great.

Visiting from Canada and wanted to try out Jersey Mikes. We ordered the BLT and Steak n Cheese. We got them regular the Jersey Mike way. I get the hype and love it! My only regret is I should have gotten the large vs regular! Definitely recommend.

My school is visiting from Canada, and not only were the subs fanTASTIC, the service was an unforgettable experience. Our newfound friends Julien, Sky, and Adam helped us decide what to order when we had no idea, and got us our subs quickly and efficiently. After eating, we reccommended the welcoming and quaint little sub shop to our peers, who also dined with Jersey Mike’s (for the first time ever!) and were thoroughly satisfied. I have NEVER had a better dining experience. These 3 deserve the biggest raise.

I agree with Kat – this jersey mikes is a disgrace to all other jersey mikes. I have given them the benefit of the doubt multiple times but every time they fail. They can’t make a simple wrap without putting a gallon of mayonnaise in it. Can’t take orders, cant make orders correctly. An embarrassment to jersey mikes

This is by far the best Jersey Mikes, like specifically.. Any time I ordered from other stores, I would be disappointed because they dont make them as good as THIS particular location does. Hands down, the best store in the area.

Very good sandwich. I have always gone to the La Canada location and thought I should try the Glendale Location. Have to say that I am impressed with the consistency between these two locations. Clean restaurant and great location. I think what makes a Jersey mikes sandwich great is the vinegar and lettuce combo. When you have the red wine vinegar blend with the lettuce, it creates a kick that is honestly unforgettable. 5/5 Experience
