This is a must try. There aren’t many places to get good Haitian Food in my area so I thoroughly enjoyed trying the chicken entree with rice and plantain.
Well worth the visit.

The food is very bad, horrible on many occasions, and today it’s even worse.
If anyone wants to try Haitian food for the first time, please don’t buy that garbage.

A welcoming staff who were happy to serve you. The food was even better than the distinguished service, with the oxtail entree being my favorite thing on their menu

I ordered something and received partial of my order which made me really upset. Not because of the mistake but because of the response afterwards which other restaurants or as a business I’ve never had before. To say sorry you didn’t hear and give me something I didn’t exactly ask for and not accommodate me afterwards saying it’s too late is ridiculous. Honestly, I don’t mind paying, but the consideration when wronged goes such a long way for me besides the fact that they didn’t even have what I anticipated of getting when I went there for in the first place. And you wonder why our people can never keep a restaurant running in this area.
Never have I had such experience before and although it was a mistake on their part, not being accommodated is crazy to me or considered. What kind of restaurant is that and it be your very own to do such. My first and last time getting food from there! I wouldn’t even consider them to get food for events either next time after such experience and I will not recommend to anyone as I usually do for any business I work with after such.

Black rice that came with the sauce is sooo good wish it was spicy but for those who love Haitian food and still want the flavor but can’t do the spice this is your go to ! Definitely vegan friendly (black rice) & the girl at the front was sooo sweet I’ll definitely be back

Just ate my first meal here and I won’t be back. I should have known that my experience was going to be lack luster because when I walked in the restaurant I didn’t smell anything cooking. Everything we ordered was microwaved except the plantains. I had the Lalo which had more meat than anything. I brought it to the attention of the young lady at the counter and I asked her for some more of the veg but she said the woman in the back and also her mom said no. Mind you there were no other customers to speak of. My honey had goat which was flavorful by also warmed and not fresh. What they called black rice is not what I’ve ever had they make theirs with pigeon peas instead of black beans??? The Buttrnut squash soup was ok, nothing to write home about.
To that end this place is a no and a waste of money cause they’re not cheap…
The young lady at the counter is the only reason I even gave 2 stars, she was pleasant.
