We dropped by for a carryout of the broiled haddock, which is the Friday night fish special. We only had a short ride home, but it was still nice and hot from the kitchen. When I opened the container, my eyes popped wide open at the HUGE size of the haddock filet! It was VERY VERY delicious, perfectly flaky, came with drawn butter, lemon wedge, and warm dinner roll. The meal also came with baked beans and coleslaw, but they were completely overshadowed by the deliciousness of the haddock!

I almost forgot, with the haddock we also got a choice of potato, we both got the same, can’t remember what they were called, but I believe they were steak fries but they were not wedges, they were slices of potato that were cracked open and then maybe baked or broiled? They were also a very nice surprise, very tasty, I would definitely get them again!

We have tried prob 3 or 4 different places in the past few months trying to find a good Friday night broiled or baked Haddock or Cod, this was by far the best! We plan on having it again soon! Two HUGE thumbs up from me and my wife!

Menu was small which is fine by us. They have their fish fry every Thursday and Friday which is great for those who don’t want to deal with the busy Friday night crowd. We went on a Thursday. Seated immediately. Served within what felt like 15 minutes or less. Not busy. Decor is very plain, nothing to get excited about but felt and looked clean which is always a big plus in my book. I got the shrimp dinner and my husband got the perch dinner. I didn’t like that I was served my sides way earlier than the rest of my food or that they came in disposable containers. Overall positive experience, we would come back. Nice dinner vibes not necessarily supper club vibes.

This place ranks high on the list for basic Wisconsin Supper Clubs! I had a very good Clam chowder, and my friend had a nice salad. We both ordered the scallops and were cooked to perfection, all 12 oz each! We also had Old Fashions that were very flavorful. Service was very accommodating and cheerful! Nice bar, and separate dining room.
Yes, we recommend this Supper Club!

Very clean and cozy. Wheelchair accessible. Service was great and the food was really good. My husband had ribs and shrimp. Done very well. I had the special on this Wednesday evening: Prime rib sandwich. Was excellent! Splurged and had a wonderful bread pudding that we took “to go”. It was scrumptious! Will definitely be back.

I wish I could give this place a few more stars. It’s unpretentious, very casual, and very delicious. There isn’t a relish tray or bread basket, but what they do have is experience. This place has been around forever, and they know their business. When you enter, you’ll find a low-key bar with good cocktails and beer. They offer a small menu, but that’s a good thing because they focus on serving you the best prime rib, chops, seafood, and other favorites. You can’t go wrong with the homemade Bleu cheese dressing for your salad. Get there when they open, and you’ll be guaranteed a table right away. They do fill up quickly but stay for drinks in the bar. The staff are friendly and fun.

The Wisconsin supper clubs are well represented here. We went for the Friday fish fry. My wife had the shrimp, and I had the haddock with parmesan crust. The shrimp were tender, and the cocktail sauce was perfect. The fish was fantastic. Normally I use lemon juice, but I did not touch it for this taste treat.

I gave my partner her first supper club experience at Club 23 and it was an incredible dinner. The old fashioned’s and 16oz ribeye steak were delectable while costing us half of what we’d pay in the twin cities.

When traveling we like to find out of the supper clubs or restaurants to have a bite to eat. This establishment fits the mold. It is situated between the Wisconsin Dells and Portage and off of highway 23. The menu is of supper club fare with fish fry on Friday and Prime On Saturday, the prime rib was tasty and soup before was also good. I’m glad we stopped on our way back from Madison
