I have been coming to this location for over a decade. They always do a great job and the treats are great. On this particular evening, I wanted a milkshake. I ordered a small milkshake with the hollowscream ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream was very good and it included peanut butter cups inside. I do wish the cups would have been blended because the shake had melted by the time you had gotten to the peanut butter cups at the bottom. I also got whipped cream on top but do you know it is an up charge to get whipped cream. overall, the staff to a great job in providing great service and products are good.

It was such a cute treat to come here with the kids. We came as a medium sized group and 7 kids. The day was some what rainy and the crew stayed busy. We got waffle cones, cups, a Sunday, and regular cones. All were great. The seating area was adorable and had the stuff to draw and play connect four but we weren’t sure where the peices were or chalk. Over all great visit tons of choices for a great price.

The kids enjoy this ice cream place in Indian Trail. Good friendly service and nice little place to sit and enjoy the ice cream. Not super crowded and it also has drive-through.
As far as the ice and flavor go – they have good variety and a small cup gives you 2 scoops that you can mix-up. I wish there were a little more variety.

Brusters is great! The flavor variety is hard to match around here. It’s good that some staples stay, but also, a lot of them change for people to come back and try some more! I recommend the raspberry truffle, can’t miss that.
My only grudge with brusters is that it seems like they’ve been adding more sugar to the mix lately, and I don’t particularly enjoy that. It also seems like the teenagers working behind the window are always overworked and understaffed. The place almost always has a small line.
It’s nice to sit down around the back and share your ice cream with friends and family!

Such delicious ice cream! I ordered a large chocolate cake cone and it was so unbelievably large I had to ask for a cup to go along with it because it was so big. Definitely didn’t expect that much! Definitely worth it’s price. (In the photo, the cup is a size large and I squashed down the ice cream to make It fit)

Today was great! Love this place! Great ice cream. Not cheap, but really good! They know how to do it right! There’s a drive thru too. There are tables outside for sitting and eating, good for the summer. They have a whole lot of flavors, and you can get a cone or a cup.

(This location has a drive-thru!)
The ice cream is good; a lot of sugar goes into it, but it’s so fluffy and fresh tasting. I asked one of the employees a while back if they knew when the White Chocolate Oreo was returning and she replied, “I don’t know, I’m new” and just stared back at me … meanwhile there were easily 5+ people inside; the correct response would have been “I’m new, but let me ask someone for you.” A learning opportunity. The staff is young, most likely a lot of first-job candidates that just need a little more guidance. Most of them are good overall and the drive thru line is quick and prompt. The labor market is unreal at the moment and staffing is not the task it was a while back, so I get it.
Their waffle cones and the dinosaur cookies from the Dino Sundae are really good, too.
Brusters has always been back/forth on tipping (a while back tipping was their form of wages), but an employee confirmed this past month that they get wages now, so the tipping is just extra. So all card payments are given a clipboard asking for a signature with a tip line on them, just a heads up.
We average $20ish for two adults and two kids. I’ve never struggled to park / never left because of a line nor wait time.

The ice cream is delicious no doubt but you had better be packing when you pay for your order. I ordered a medium size cup(Also known as the Regular size) of “Deep Dish Apple Pie” which the girl explained; small has two scoops, Med/Reg. Has 3 scoops and Lrg. Has 4 scoops. She rang me up ($4.75) a little more than I expected but ok 3 scoops I am thinking so she hands me this little tiny cup and sure enough 3 itty bitty scoops I honestly thought she messed up my order. No the order was right.
Here is a picture of the cup beside a drink can to give you an idea of just how small this serving is.
