Neapolitan wood-fired pizza I think I found my favorite Italian restaurant in Rockville Centre. They have incredible pizzas, fresh pasta, and entrees.

This charming Italian restaurant in Rockville Center has amazing wood fired pizzas, delicious salads, and a dessert that has my hot year old smile from ear to ear. Adrian our waiter went out of his way to make my son super happy with his dessert. He even got extra sprinkles for his chocolate gelato!!!

I’ll definitely be back. The three course price fixed menu is great.

Had a pizza making party at Volcano 081 for our Daisy Girl Scouts and it was so much fun. They made it so special providing aprons and hats for the kids. The pizza was actually really really good despite the hands of a 6-9 year olds making it. Lisa and Nick did a fabulous job making it such a fun event!

This place is really the best! From food to service! I had my parties here twice (rehearsal dinner and daughter’s christening) and they never disappoint! They are great and flexible in hosting parties and will do whatever you ask them to! The pizzas and pastas are amazing!! We highly recommend this place!

I love Vulcano 081. The immediate obvious reason is for its amazing pizzas. If you want an authentic pizza that rivals that of the greatest pizza makers in NYC, this spot is it. Their pizzas have bold daring tastes (to this Long Island girl at least) that are unrivaled thus far. The drinks are amazing. My favorite, the Black Raspberry Lychee martini, is almost always unavailable now because it’s the best.

The ambiance is very nice, dim lighting gives an Italian cobble street aura which is the photo on their back wall. The center of the restaurant gives itself to a large Gold mosaic brick oven. It’s really great to watch, see and smell your food being prepared. (Walking past it feels great during these random seasons #climatechange)

However, the true gem of this restaurant is its staff. Attentive and precise, these are people who make it the amazing restaurant that it is. Adrian is gorgeous and so kind, Lisa is welcoming and sweet and Santos is fast and attentive.

On a rough day this is my spot, like coming home to rest.

The service was excellent and attentive. Dim atmosphere and light music with tasteful decor.

The pizza crust was cooked perfectly, and the toppings were average for the area. The pizza is comparative to the better establishments in town.

The octopus was excellent and was a real treat. It’s not something you see on a menu regularly, so I got it. Definitely give it a try. It was not chewy, and the hummus was an excellent paring.

I liked this place and would recommend and return.

This used to be one of my favorite go-to pizza places, even though they are expensive. I felt their quality was worth the price. Unfortunately, today I attempted to place my usual delicious order of Margherita D.O.P. pizza, sub Vodka sauce, caramelized onions, and extra buffalo mozzarella, but was denied the option to build my usual pizza (and pay for my costly modifications). You will remain one of my favorite pizza spots, but unfortunately I won’t be ordering again because you no longer serve the pizza I fell in love with. ☹️ I’ll hold you in my memory.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here but it’s as good as it’s always been. Came here for dinner with my husband. It is a nice small town dining spot. More of an intimate setting. The staff was wonderful. All of them were super attentive, one was always on top of the drinks, another was on top of the food, another was always attentive to clear the table and pack leftovers.
They have a tues Wednesday special of a four course meal, it was an absolute steal! You got an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert for less that $30. The portions were just right! We both choose different items to share and have a taste of everything. The suppli was packed full of flavor. The pizzas were just as incredible as i remember! The Margherita was and has always been my favorite there with the Bianca coming in as a close second. Ended the night with tiramisu and chocolate gelato, it was perfect finish to the night.

My husband and I were in the area and decided to stop in. We ended up sharing 2 pies and a pitcher of sangria (peach and strawberry).. I’m very indecisive so I asked our server Adrian for his advice and he was the best. He gave me his recommendations based on what he likes but also urged that I try their signature pizza as it’s a crowd favorite and I’m glad he did. It was amazing! Sweet with a bit of spice! He also served up the best sangria sweet but not too sweet! Delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be back to try some more dishes. Service is really important these days and Adrian really made our experience memorable! Thanks Adrian!

Had two margherita pizzas and an arugula salad. The cheese and the pizza dough had great taste, but the basil was a bit strong (not sure why). The arugula salad was perfect, with the right amount of dressing and fresh shaved cheese on top. The decor was simple and had a rustic feel, but the music didn’t match the vibe. Too upbeat for an early evening dinner.
