EXTREMELY good chicken breast sandwich. Tastes like it was made with passion. Got the potato salad on the side. So fresh and good. The staff was friendly, atmosphere was relaxing (i called it in but went inside to pick it up). I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!

Me and my family were coming back from a little excursion and we stopped by this place, thinking it would be good from what we saw and it was beyond expectation!! I got the Wet Wubba and it was amazing. The service was amazing the waiter was amazing and our food came out relatively quickly for what we ordered and all the
wood tasted better than expectation and it’s all fairly price so if your up for a good barbecue place come here it is to die for!!

I would definitely recommend the baby back ribs. My daughter got the Sunday bowl with pulled pork. Didn’t come with pulled pork and the mashed potatoes were not very good. Husband got the brisket and sausage. Very dry and over done. The corn fritters were burned on outside. Son got baby back ribs and St. Louis ribs. Baby back were excellent. I got the pulled pork nachos. Not much cheese or meat. Lots of tomatoes. Service was good.

I rated it 1 star only because I had to in order to coment, otherwise I would have gave it a – 0 i ordered the tri tip dip ( French dip) macaroni salad, and strawberry margaritas, asked for no lime cause stomach issues from lime, they put it in there anyway, couldn’t drink it!, the frech dip was not good at all ,supposed to be thinly sliced was dry, thick slices and had a strange tast, was tough, ate half the sandwich just because I was extremely hungry, didn’t taste smoked at all, didn’t eat macaroni salad. Has miracle whip in it ,if you cant make your salad waist good without using miracle whip then give it up!! To sum it up, couldn’t drink the drink, couldn’t eat the salad, and the tritium made me verry sick, I was up all night with serious abdominal cramps and severe diarrhea, needless to say , I will never eat there again !!!! Alert!!! Food poisoning meat was old!! ,spoiled and tough!!!

We got the food Togo and I’m not sure if they were supposed to give us more bbq sauce to go with it or not but I felt like everything was a little dry. We got the Uptown style came with smoked chicken, pulled pork, brisket, ribs, fritters, and 4 sides. The pulled pork and brisket was the star meat here they had the most flavor with good BBQ taste. The chicken to me was a bit dry, didn’t really taste like it was smoked. The ribs didn’t have much flavor and the meat was kinda tough, I wish it had more sauce on them. The fritters we got looked a little dark maybe overcooked almost burnt. The four sides we got were creamy Mac salad which I really loved had good flavor. Pit smoked beans were good too, but the green beans with bacon tasted like they came out of a can, they were not good. The bacon couldn’t save it. The last side was onion straws. Overall nothing really stood out I just feel like it was ok BBQ.

DISGUSTING!!!!!! And too noisy to have a pleasant conversation!! Had to send the first order of boneless wings back because they were hard as rocks. The second batch was much smaller, NOT AS HARD, and had a weird texture to the meat. Freezer burnt and/or microwaved??? Seriously, if I threw those across the room I could hurt somebody.
They asked me how I wanted my tri-tip. I said medium. I got a tough well done, dried out slab of something that looked like gray paper hardboard.
The baby back ribs on the other hand were UNDER COOKED with raw looking meat at the bone. The ribs did not just slide out of the meat for sure.
The salad was the only thing edible. Iceberg lettuce, 2 small tomato slices and 2 small cucumber slices.
Thought to give them a second chance. Last time I waited 10 minutes before walking out because the waitress was too busy standing at the bar jabbering with her friend to take my order. That was 2 years ago.
GO TO EL RODEO’s. Especially if you like gracious service and and pride in the food. Look across the Harbor Freight parking lot, where you more than likely had to park, and you will see El Rodeo with plenty of their own parking space. I promise their beef and chicken are better than this bbq shack. But then you wanted bbq, didn’t you????

Nice and chilled atmosphere. The Bbq here was really tasty. I ordered the Pit Master Combo. The meat fell right off the bone and the chicken quarter was not dry at all which is a big plus. The garlic mashed potatoes and the fried okra was really good as well. Also ordered the Tequila chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, it was pretty damn good lol. It had good flavor. Highly recommend!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – tri-tip & rib combo with St Luis ribs, extra order of pulled pork, and sides of creole rice and fried okra. The ribs is absolutely amazing and fall off the bone soft with fairly little effort. The tri-tip was a block of protein and a on the tougher side. We did ask for medium rare but it was closer to well done. The pulled pork was not worth the additional cost. The sides were tasty though!

Ambience: n/a – came 30 minutes before closing so ordered food to go

Service: 5/5 – very friendly and walked us through the combos and all the different options available. Also very patient as we discussed each option

Value for price: 4/5 – reasonable price for amount of food we got! Definitely worth when craving it.

Great service, great food, great drinks. All at a reasonable price. Got the mango jalapeño margarita, drunken chicken or something like that it was bomb, with a side of hushpuppies and 1/2 pound tri-tip. Will be back for sure. Also the BBQ sauce is gluten-free so that’s a huge plus!

If they had a bigger building and parking lot theyd stay packed. Food is great, good portions for the price. I just wish i could make my stomach bigger. ill definitely visit again.

Edit: this is now my third or fourth time visiting the resturant. Last night i was in medford and wanted bbq and ordered from another resturant called Ma’s BBq and let me tell you it was so awful i actually threw it away before finishing. I had to get food from wubbas just to wash the bad taste out so today getting wubbas just proves that they are the best BBQ spot between Kfalls and portland. I travel for work alot and there are times i want bbq but dont want to cook and sadly unless im in Kfalls there are almost no options and non of them stand even close to wubbas. There the best of the best hands down. I literally cant say enough good things. And for locals they have a reward system to earn points and get discounts. Staff is friendly and ive never had a bad meal. The corn fritters are my favorite with there brisket but they have so many sides its hard to choose one.
