We enjoyed Bonu for the first time today, coming for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming, as was the chef owner. The menu has many interesting choices. The Greek omelet and grilled chicken sandwich were delicious, served hot and with great accompaniments. This is a special place. We can’t wait to return!

I had high hopes for this café after reading the reviews, but our experience was really disappointing. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly, and the prices looked reasonable, which is why we decided to try it.
We ordered breakfast combo, and my husband chose also the French toast. The menu said it came with whipped cream and strawberries, and even the waitress confirmed that. After waiting about 40 minutes, the dish finally arrived — just one small piece of bread, cut in half, with a little whipped cream on the side and no strawberries at all.
I checked other reviews and saw photos showing 4–5 pieces of toast for the same price ($10). When the bill came, they only charged us $3, which I appreciate, but there was no explanation. They could have simply told us they were out of bread or strawberries and asked if we still wanted the dish.
Instead, we left disappointed. Poor communication and service made what could have been a good experience into a bad one.
I enclosed the picture of the French toast. It’s already with asked strawberries.

After riding 14 miles from KOP this is a great place to stop and get food and coffee. I got the vegetarian burrito and luckily they made accommodations for my wife who has food allergies. She got a couple of nice hard boiled eggs, and some slices of tomato. Super nice people running this business.

BONU is a small restaurant/diner with a combination of booths, high chairs and round tables. Fresh flowers and plants together with tasteful decorations complete the pleasant ambiance. The menu includes typical American dishes with hints of Mediterranean/Middle-eastern influence. The avocado toast dishes with mushrooms on the side were perfectly prepared and presented. I’m sure it is a great place for lunch or hanging out for a cup of coffee between meals.

Just had an amazing meal at Bonu cafe. This place is a hidden gem. The food was incredible. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was amazing. The service was also top-notch; everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It’s clear they put a lot of love into what they do. Support local business and give them a try you won’t be disappointed!

Very nice little breakfast spot with about eight tables inside and three or four outside. My breakfast sandwich was outstanding and huge on large thick wheat toast. There was nobody at the front when I walked in but I got my food quickly and with a smile.

I saw a review on the next door site for this place and decided to check it out for lunch. When the review said the food was good and the owner was super nice, they weren’t kidding. The restaurant was clean, the turkey rueben I had was great and the owner was super nice. I’ll definitely go back to try something else on the menu! And I’ll definitely send my family over to try it too!
