I visited this restaurant with my sister and friend on June 15th, and it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely amazing, with rich flavors and exquisite presentation. The service was outstanding, attentive, and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The highlight was the Fire Show, which was superb and something I didn’t expect to find outside of London. The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning, with beautiful decor that adds to the overall experience. This will definitely be my top choice from now on. We had the best time and can’t wait to return.

First time for me last night, loved meeting the Chef, all the staff where polite and attentive.
The food was perfect and “Cobra” on draft was the best a-compliment for Indian food…..
The only let down was my date on the night eating all the wonderful Poppadom sauces…. :0)

Location is good, lots of off road parking. The meat and tarka dhaal was just about okay, missing a bit of extra flavour, but the chicken curries had no flavour at all and no taste. The service is okay, I guess the waiters are new and learning hence why they literally stood next to our table so was a bit awkward to eat at times.

We have a lot of nice Indian restaurants in Hemel but I have to say that The Sultan is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Hemel. The quality of food is on par with top London Indian restaurants. It’s good quality and not far off from fine dining. They have some great specials so it’s good to step away from your usual. Even though it’s like a hidden gem more people need to experience this restaurant. We went one Friday evening and it wasn’t busy so hence low score for the atmosphere but we had a lovely time. Definitely will be visiting again.

Came here for my parent’s 25 year anniversary and was honestly blown away! The food was incredible, the interior of the restaurant is so nice and the staff was so friendly. We decided to go for the 5 course meal which was really good for the price – I will admit it was a lot of food but we had some left overs the next day so definitely worth it. I have to say its one of the best Indian restaurants I have been too, would highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back here again, thank you so much Sultan

Nice quality of culinary. The Goan special rice had quite a lot of shrimps that sometimes wouldn’t even be in a shrimp curry itself!
The tikkas were moist and perfectly done with out overcooking.
Overall a surprisingly pleasant treat!
