A daily menu, all freshly prepared in the kitchen, includes dishes from both land and sea. Wifey picked this Scottsdale jewel. From the waitstaff to the bartender and the chefs, we couldn’t have been more warmly received and taken care of for our first night out in town.

Our table service was exemplary. Literally, this a place where you trust your gut when you’re making decisions. But, sometimes questions present. Our server gave us granularity on dishes and helped us hone in. Fantastic.

Fair prices and a great cadence for how our experience unfolded. In a foodie town with so many satiating choices, even though there is room for everyone, make room for Hush.

I must admit, it’s EXPENSIVE, but we had such a delightful night out with friends, celebrating our friend’s engagement and their exciting move to a different state! It was a special occasion filled with joy. The food was a true highlight—I enjoyed open-faced Italian beef oxtail, which was simply incredible! The date cake with bourbon was so extraordinary that it deserves a second date! I can’t wait to indulge in that again. Although the wine quality didn’t quite resonate with me, I’m eagerly anticipating trying the espresso martini next time! A recommendation from a true foodie like myself: her passion for cooking and hosting creates unforgettable experiences for guests, bridging the gap between drinks, appetizers, and meals. Placing good Italian bread on the table with olive oil and balsamic would be a transformative touch. With the correct elements, we must keep our hands busy and our hearts happy as we await the delicious food.

Odd that such a great place is in a strip mall, but it was great!

The crab hushpuppies were a *tiny bit salty, but the cauliflower is fire and the steak frites were amazing! Hubby had the beef and it was awesome!

Small wine selection, but good offerings and I had the ruby slipper cocktail…x2!

Will be back again soon!

We were there September 14 for first seating at 5. There truly are no words to express the quality and creativity we experienced. Beautifully done cocktails, excellent house reds, apps and main. We shared the grilled oysters that took us back to New Orleans for the originality and quality. I had the Italian Beef and hands down 12 out of 10! Husband had the tomahawk pork chop; again just bangers. Overall, nothing critical except wish I had one closer to us! A true gem

Chose this place for a nice birthday/anniversary dinner, the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the grilled oysters, the green beans, and the peach appetizers. For entrees it was steak frites, salmon, and the tomahawk schnitzel which was delightful. It was pricey, but we thoroughly enjoy our meal!

Did the restaurant week special that had 3 courses. I was frankly scared of the chicken liver mousse on noble bread, but it was actually phenomenal.

The new york strip was sublime, expertly cooked and every bite was a joy. This was the highlight of the meal for me.

The dessert was an excellent chocolate bodino, I didn’t expect to like it but was very pleasantly surprised.

The only thing I didn’t particularly enjoy were the frites with the steak. They were a little too mushy.

Highly recommend this place to those wishing to drop a decent amount of money for a fantastic meal. I wouldn’t say the overall decor is anything out of this world, but the food blows everything else out of the water.

Went with 2 of my girls and it was fantastic! Every item we had was delicious. We had our hearts set on the dessert, but couldn’t even get to it because we were so filled by the portions. Every dish was delicious! Server Mikey was great and helpful! Attentive. And didn’t need a reservation to get in on a Friday at 6:45pm which is shocking given how good it was!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! From start to finish, everything at Hush Public House Kitchen was phenomenal. The atmosphere was welcoming and elevated without feeling pretentious, and the service was warm and attentive.

What truly made the night special was that Chef Zack himself came out to check on our table — such a personal and thoughtful touch. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and his guests. He asked how we were enjoying everything, and let me just say… his food speaks for itself.

I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection — flavorful, tender, and exactly how I like it. Every appetizer we tried was to die for — beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You could honestly make a meal out of just the starters and leave happy. And don’t even get me started on the Old Fashioned — balanced, smooth, and expertly made.

This place is a gem. Chef Zack and his team are creating something really special. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go — you’ll be planning your return before dessert hits the table.

Hush Public House in Scottsdale delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. We began with the crab hush puppies and the crispy cauliflower—both were executed perfectly and set a strong tone for the meal. For our entrées, the steak frites arrived cooked to a flawless medium-rare, and the Italian beef dish was rich, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. We finished with the date cake, which was outstanding and memorable.

What truly elevated the evening, though, was the service. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the night. They went above and beyond to make my girlfriend’s birthday feel special, never feeling forced or performative—just sincere hospitality.

I also want to specifically recognize the manager, Kayla. Our correspondence leading up to the visit was efficient, pleasant, and reassuring. She took the initiative to gather flowers, arrange a special birthday menu for my girlfriend, and even included the date cake free of charge as part of the celebration. Those details made a meaningful difference and showed a real commitment to guest experience.

Hush Public House strikes that rare balance of excellent food and exceptional hospitality. We left feeling genuinely cared for, and it’s a place we’ll happily return to—and confidently recommend.
