Incredible ramen here! I wish I lived closer I would be here all the time. Cozy ambiance and perfect for a quick bite or to catch up w a friend. I got the Yuzu Miso and the Tan Tan dipping noodles. My friends got the Tonkotsu spicy and non spicy. The broth of the yuzu was soooo well balanced. I loved the soft boiled eggs those were def the star of the show. The dipping ramen was incredible as well, and I replaced the chorizo with chashu pork. Will be here again!

Delicious hot bowl of ramen. I had the Traditional Shio or Shoyu bowl. It was delicious. Shop makes their own noodles. I highly recommend this shop.

The tonkotsu broth was perfect. The noodles were chewy and wonderful. There’s a whole perfectly jammy ajitama (ramen egg) in there. Plenty of yummy chasu, menma and I LOVED the pickled (?) shiitake mushrooms. A bright tang against the creamy, rich broth was freaking delightful. Wowowowow. 10/10 I’m a fan. Oh, and it’s all made in house. So impressed. Super happy.

One of the best ramen spots in Portland! I regularly get the Tonkatsu and highly recommend it. Super friendly staff, ordering & finding seating is always a breeze. So happy to have a regular spot we know we can consistently get an amazing bowl of ramen at.

We’re thrilled to discover a great ramen place in SE. Before this discovery we’d trek out to Beaverton. No longer!
We ordered the traditional Shio and the Gyokai Tonkotsu both were delicious in their own way. The broth was rich and the dish was nicely balanced.
The ramen came out fast and the kitchen really hustles. They live up to their name, the food is Delicious!

Didn’t expect much but came out so impressed. Been to Japan multiple times and to different cities trying different types of ramen. This one holds up to some of the best of em… seriously. My wife and I were craving spicy ramen and this really hit the spot. Noodles are so well made! And although the habanero mash doesn’t taste like traditional ramen it provides a great kick!

Wow! I haven’t had REALLY good food in awhile and it was REALLY great. Like some of the best food my partner and I have ever had. We live literally right around the corner! So stoked to have such good ramen in the hood. Will be back!

Reaper ramen is no joke. It’s delicious, but remember, you’re going to have to drive home. My eyes didn’t stop watering for a while after downing that one. The habanero one is the limit for me. Super spicy, utterly delicious, and I can drive home safely. The staff is super informative of their products, and happy to explain them. I’ve had nothing but great experiences coming here, almost weekly. If you’ve never had real ramen, this will be your go to soon.

My main thing is I wish there was more vegetables but that’s a personal issue for me.

– really good but think I liked the red silk tonkotsu ever so slightly more
– it was a dry noodle which I expected but I think the ramen hits the spot more
– love the pears
– wish it was spicier
– very creamy, can’t taste much shellfish
– definitely need to mix it to get the full effect
Red silk tonkatsu ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

– egg is cooked perfectly
– love the mushrooms
– not super spicy
Habanero tonkotsu ⭐⭐⭐✨
– not spicy at all
– wouldn’t order again, just ok tho
– upper part of mild, could taste underneath
Cho maz ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hot green tea ⭐⭐✨

Blended coconut ⭐⭐⭐
– it’s good if it’s what you’re looking for
– not overly sweet
– but not 100% for me, just the tiniest bit sweeter than what I like
