So glad this restaurant was open during our vacation trip to the outer bayous. Excellent customer service with great food. Would be back in the future if we come near that area again. Blessings for 2026.

Stopped for a quick bite, while just off the boat redfishing. We are staying at the Venice lodge. Our meal was excellent we had the crawfish , spinach dip and a catfish wrap. Amazing service great story behind the restaurant. I would highly recommend the food.

Quaint restaurant with local cuisine, including the local favorite Poboy. Friendly staff. Superb portions.

The menu items are expensive all around for things that are normally inexpensive. The shrimp were overcooked. The taste of the Poboy I ordered was alright. Beware that staff will bill you a 20% gratuity fee (for a group of 3) without asking or informing you before you sit down. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant.

This cute family owned restaurant caught my eye and we decided to pop in for brunch. The place is decorated very cute country chic decor. I love the huge family photo displayed in the dining area. As soon as we walked through the door we received the warmest welcome from Michelle the owner’s daughter, she’s very sweet and attentive. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as the appetizer, fried shrimp platter w/sweet potatoes fries, seafood platter w/cajun fries and both come with side salad. We also ordered an iced tea(they come bottled, no more fountain drinks) and a glass of Sangria(delish) The shrimp and the mozzarella sticks were really good! My BF said he didn’t really care for the fried oysters(too fishy) and the fish. The menu is a little pricey but you get a good amount of food.

Best stop we made to see the southern most point. It was a spur of the moment stop and I think the staff here made this a huge highlight of our trip! Absolutely taste the love in every bite. If you find you way this far south, please stop in and say hi Justine, she will welcome you with open arms and hot food!

Always a fulfilling home cooked meal with any fixings you want. Service is polite and welcoming any time of day. I loved this restaurant while on business travel and was able to sample 5 different main course with variations of side. Favorites are the rare rib eye, burger steak, and of course the country fried steak and okra. Fried mushrooms are good. I didn’t try the pizza they offer but it looks like there were many orders placed during my coming and going. Nothing like an ice cold beer and great food after a long day of working on ships!

Nice little restaurant! The food was very good. My husband had the roast beef Po Boy, my son the fish Po Boy, daughter the chicken fingers with delicious fries, and I had the Gumbo bowl. Everything was very tasty! The ladies were nice especially the owner, she gave us some recommendations about the area.
The place was very clean.
I definitely recommend to stop here if you’re in Venice.

Absolutely lovely group of women running this place!! They are sweet, attentive and can cook!!
We loved everything we ordered. The shrimp are big are fried to perfection. (Other places like at the Venice marina, had little wimpy sad shrimp.)
Poboy delicious. Crawfish spinach dip was delicious too. And then onion rings! Yum. Tartar sauce homemade and delicious as well.

We will be back!

Wonderful food with generous portions was delivered speedily to our table. Great service and good prices. One also gets “cool points” for eating at the southernmost restaurant in the state, 65 miles south of New Orleans on HWY 23. I will definitely visit again.
