Stopped by the Flying Pig BBQ restaurant on the way back from Capitol Reef NP. So glad we Stopped. The wife/waitress & her husband were so friendly & personable. The food was great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw which was simply delicious. My wife had the two brisket tacos (which I sampled) and loved them, as well as the Mac & cheese, which she raved about. The brisket in the tacos was smoked & seasoned perfectly. I loved their food & am sure you will as well.

The Pork Ribs were horrible. Overcooked and tasted like nothing I’ve ever had. I could not eat them. They would not refund.

I wish I took a picture of the food. I ordered pork short ribs and food was served very quickly after ordering made me wondering why it was that fast, meat came out grey color and dry, plain flavor. I did not eat any of the food because I did not know how old the meat was, or how they preserved the meat.
Spent over $50 for 2 people and meat was not great.

First, the food IS over priced. The service was slow and the server kept asking us what we ordered. The BBQ sauce was way too spicy, the cole slaw was purple cabbage with some kind sweet stuff all over it. The mac n cheese was runny and the mash potatoes smelled bad. $91 for 3 meals and a side dish for a kid, it was a horrible experience.

We were the only ones there. The brisket came with 2 small rolls, a couple of pickle slices, pickled onions and one side. We got the Mac & cheese and a root beer. It came to $25, which seems high for one person. They ask you for a tip which seems over the top considering you order from the counter and no one checks on you. No refills as a can of root beer cost $3.00.

Chicken was shoe leather, ribs were old and grey under the sauce and came from a package. Cole slaw out of a jar. Wish I took pictures for reference. I wouldn’t feed this food to my animals. Please do not go. Staff were very nice, but this does not warrant serving food in this manner.
