One of the best of authentic Indian restaurants with a tinge of authentic Nepalese cuisine thrown in

Located Lynnwood (in the Pacific Northwest) this restaurant is excellent and the food tastes amazing. The service is fast, welcoming and attentive.

The only sore point maybe the serve sizes which in my opinion are quite miserly for the prices charged for them.

The Curries, starters and breads were fresh, spicy and very different from the other restaurants in the Pacific Northwest area.

We used to go to Kanishka in Redmond for quality Indian cuisine, but now that we’ve discovered Moonsun Indian Grill, we don’t have to make the trip all the way there.

I’m not a connoisseur of Indian curries—we usually stick to popular dishes like butter chicken and chicken tikka masala etc —but every curry we tried here is made with great quality. The chicken portions are generous and tender, and the flavors are consistently delicious. I really love their curries.

I tried the Mango Chicken Curry after seeing it a few recommends on reviews. It was good, but a bit too sweet for my taste—probably perfect for kids or anyone who enjoys sweeter flavors. The garlic naan is fantastic. Crispy, almost like a thin-crust pizza. Definitely a must-try!

The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented, which makes the dining experience even better.

Nice atmosphere, clean (kitchen as well). The service is always top notch as the staff are attentive, caring, friendly and always smiling which is enjoyable. We ate Chicken coconut curry, Paneer Tiki Massala, and Kasturi lamb. Each dish tastes different and the portion sizes we ate were a great value. Garlic naan was good and freshly made. Everything was very delicious!

Food was very good. I got the gobi aloo as a level 3 for spice. I would say I have a medium to high spice tolerance and the 3 had a little kick but wasn’t very spicy. My friend who got the chicken tikka masala got level 2 spice and said it was pretty mild, could have gotten 3. The pakora was good, nothing too special. Portions are big. Very good service and staff.

They serve good North Indian flavored dishes. Their spice levels are good so be mindful before ordering 5 star.

We enjoyed our first visit more than the second. Most of the dishes were good, and Naan was definitely fluffy and fresh. However, the gobhi Manchurian had different than expected – not our favorite.

Don’t order tea, it’s not good. Also salad is basic.

The seating area is comfortable, with a nice ambience and the option for outdoor seating.

The only good things there are its nice waitresses. The food was horrible, the lettuce was old and not washed, I even spotted a bug on it. The goat curry was absolute garbage, full of bones and all fat, I’m not sure what part of goat meat was it but didn’t look like meat, my first time in my life seeing a goat meat that is not meat. Food over spiced disgustingly and unbalancedly. Bread wasn’t impressive as well. Rice was Not recommended at all. Restaurant is smelly, if you have nice clothes and cologne be mindful you’ll smell like curry when you leave.

My wife and I have tried a few regional Indian restaurants. This is only the second one that we liked. The food was excellent and you get alot. The service was prompt and excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant, not fine dining but one notch below. Only recommendation is to add what items are gluten free on their menu. Many items had soy sauce or were potentially cooked with wheat items.

Fantastic little Indian restaurant tucked in amongst the bustle of Costco, Home Depot, and Apartment Buildings. It’s an absolute gem. The service is exceptional—they were kind, noticed everything (like when we’d forgotten to blow out the candles on the food warmers—a gentleman came and warned us before it burnt our food), and kept our water glasses topped up. They were patient with us as we decided on dishes to share.

The food was delicious—as good as I’ve had in London! And we ordered enough that I ended up with two more meals out of it.

We’re both vegetarian, and the Palak Paneer and Daal were both great options from a whole page of vegetarian dishes.

The restaurant has comfy, cozy, private booths, with tasteful art on the walls and a few table seats with views of big TVs for those who need screens. The bathrooms were spotless.

We will be returning and we highly recommend it. Park in the Home Depot lot and follow the walkways past the urgent care clinic so you don’t get smushed by drivers racing to Costco.

Today I ordered lamb biryani. The test is so bad, and it looks like it was cooked 2 days ago. Too much rice, but not enough meat. I am totally frustrated. I would like to request guys please avoid this restaurant. They are just making money without providing good customer service and food.

I spent $156. I feel regret so don’t regret ordering food from this restaurant

Moonsun India Grill in Lynnwood is an absolute gem and easily the top Indian restaurant around. Everything about this place reflects care, pride, and consistency—from the quality of the food to the cleanliness of the restaurant and the warmth of the service.

The flavors are authentic, rich, and well-balanced, clearly made fresh and with attention to detail. Portions are generous, ingredients taste high quality, and the overall experience feels thoughtfully run, not rushed or careless.

What really stands out is the hospitality. The fantastic owners and staff are welcoming, respectful, and genuinely wants customers to have a great experience. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and comfortable, which says a lot about how seriously they take their business.

If you’re searching for authentic Indian food in Lynnwood, Moonsun India Grill is a place you can trust for quality, consistency, and great service. This is the kind of restaurant you’re happy to support and recommend. Highly, highly recommended
