It is a good option! Food is average. The staff however are very helpful and nice. The sausage sandwich was ok, it came with beans and potato salad but my dad changed the beans for French fries. I had ordered the burger which was actually quite delicious and I had that with the same sides. I would definitely go back for the burger. We also split a Caesar salad as well.

Their chicken fried steak is by far the best and I’m from San Antonio. Staff was awesome and polite. I went for lunch 12/10/25 I ate and before I left I ordered another one to go for supper at the hotel. Tomorrow 12/11/25 I’m stopping and getting two more to take back to San Antonio.

The food was good. The burger was the best part the bacon and cheese was on point and I like the buns. The side salad was very fresh and I enjoyed it. I disliked the girl who took my order, she did not take the order correctly, but when I received my order the guy corrected it and he was apologetic.

There are just some places you walk into and just feel the hometown vibes. Nolan’s is definitely one of them. The staff is awesome. The food is nostalgic for me but of course I had to go with the Chicken Fried Steak Special. It definitely hit the spot but I saw the Shrimp platter and wanted that!

You order at the front and give your name, and they bring the food to your table. Drinks are self serve. The chocolate cake slices looked amazing!

Saw a big sign on the highway that said, Nolan’s had the best chicken fried steak in corpus christi. So I had to stop by and yes, the chicken fried steak was very, very good. Don’t know if it’s the best because I haven’t tried anyone else’s. But this chicken fried steak lived up to the hype. The side of mashed potatoes was real mashed potatoes with cream gravy, and it was really good. The only disappointing thing was the mac and cheese which was kind of gummy. I got there right before 12, and I’m glad I did because there was a line almost out the door by 12:30.. All and all pretty darn good.

Paid 45 dollars for a bbq plate, meat ok, potatoe salad dry, beans had no flavor, meat on Ribeyes, sandwich was hard and tough and only got 4 little pieces of grilled chicken on my Cesar salad, first and last time, never again will I order from here
